This was my our second time to visit this place. The last time was in 2013. It was just me and hubby and we weren't able to get inside the house. This time we were with our two teenage daughters and we wanted them to know about the late senator, and we were fortunate that tourists were now allowed inside the house, provided, we take off our shoes at the entrance.

There's a zipline on the side of the property, and had it not been drizzling, my daughters would have zipped overlooking the scenic plain of Puerto Princesa City. They say you can do horseback riding, but I don't see any horses when we were there.

Worth the visit when you're fond of history.

This third stop is called Mitra’s Ranch that is owned by the prominent family of Mitra. It’s just a few blocks away from Baker’s Hill. In here, you’ll learn a bit about Mitra’s family history and their involvement in public service. Mitra’s Ranch is a great spot to have a relaxing moment after visiting the first few destinations of the tour. Mitra’s Ranch’s location is perfect for an afternoon talk or dessert. Its promising view of green forest and Sulu Sea/Honda Bay makes you want to have the same kind of mansion or ranch. The breeze of the fresh air makes you want to stay and sleep on a hammock, it’s indeed a great experience visiting this ranch.

I’m still wondering why this location was part of the city tour. It’s a very baring place with some green field in front of the house. The only attraction is the poor horse who can be used for horse riding. For me that place is not a must have seen place in Puerto Princesa. Try to do something else ….

We stayed at the panja resort which is right beside the ranch. We decided to do the skywalk and zip line with our daughter and she loved it. We are ice cream the petted and rode the kabayos. We had a great time here and we enjoyed every bit of it. It was a nice break for us.

What a complete waste of time and money.
The zip wire/skybridge walk is incredibly expensive for what it is. We paid 250php each. The experience offers nothing, it's all just an extortionate joke.

Not much to see other than how the ultra-rich of this province live their lives. They will only allow you at the front of the ranch house and there are nice parks and trees but that's it. I saw an army of bodyguards standing by one of the gazebos.

We live next door to Mitra "Ranch" and have seen this attraction grow over the last 12 years. With the addition of zip lining last year the site has greater interest. Make sure you go early morning or late afternoon because you hike back up to the top after the 3 rides. The first ride is the longest and the additional 2 require hiking up a tower to gain altitude. A new tower is under construction and opening soon. The ranch aspect is mainly neglected cattle breaking free of the limited over grazed pasture and trampling the neighboring properties. Mostly it's locals and tourists sitting on the lawn and enjoying the view.

Indeed this place is a good place to stop and breath fresh air after a long city tour. The place offers a great view of the ranch, you have an option to try their zip-line.

BUT, if you are DIY traveler then you may skip this, going up the hill is time consuming.

To take a peek at the breathtaking view that Mitra Farm provides is essentially free. It's a nice and peaceful stopover that I highly recommend people to take. It has a small snacks corner, and also offers a surprisingly wide range of activities (if you opt to stay longer) such as horse-riding and zip-lining.

As we visited this attraction as part of a group tour, we just stayed here for ten minutes; so we didn't have enough time to engage in the other activities it offered.

No tour guides or informative signs around. Basically you just go there for the view (which isn't much).
Recommended if you want to eat snacks and chill. But if you are looking for more value, skip this place.

There were staff but they are not very helpful.
