It's all worth it! I really enjoyed this experience and will definitely come back with more people! Though I was scared at how deep the water was, the tour guide's soothing voice told me it was nothing to be afraid of.  Eventually, the water itself...More

If you happen to be in Puerto Princesa especially just for a short while (2-3 days), just make sure to see two places: the Underground River and this place, where seeing the fireflies is just magical! It would be very difficult to have this kind...More

It was my 3rd time to experience the firefly watching and it has all been a magical experience! Not only will you see fireflies but bioluminiscent planktons as well! Imagine touching the river and see glow in the dark planktons just like in the movie...More

You get on a boat to go to the floating “restaurant” which is some floating platform with plastic tables and chairs. Food and entertainment (2 ladies and a karaoke machine) was decent. After dinner you hop on back your boat to travel closer to a...More

This was very different to what I had expected. The boat ride was fabulous. The river was calm, the night silent, the air fresh and the boatman friendly. And then the real thing - trees glowing like Christmas Lights with hundreds of fireflies. Very difficult...More

The fireflies are spectacular and nice and quiet coming in fact. Unfortunately with no flash all I got were plain black pictures. If you have time awesome. Don't forget the insect repellent The fireflies are gorgeous......

We were reluctant to visit this place at first until we read one of the blogs talk about bioluminiscent planktons. However, we also learned from one of the locals that it wasn't 100% sure that we would get to see it since it was dependent...More

Our tour group arrived late so their wasn't much dinner left for us from the Buffett which was disappointing, however the tour itself was a delight. Not as many firefly ss as expected but a lovely experience and very beautiful. Cannot use flash photography!

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with Iwahig Firefly watching. I just don't know if I expected too much (cos I Googled) or that's all of it. There are minimal fireflies, though you can see an army of them concentrated on certain parts....More
