Went on This tour over Christmas dec 2019. I researched alot of tours and based on reviews and price due to our budget I went with buhay isla tours. This was our Main 'tour' while travelling through the phillipines and it defiantly was the Highlight for us. The islands were incredible. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was Amazing, definitely the best food we had in philipines and don't know How they managed to cook during the thyphoon, Hats off to them. Safety was excellent. Which I was slightly worried about as you hear so many mixed reviews. We experienced a thyphoon on christmas day and met 2 and 1/2 metre waves which was very high for our little boat. Dispite this I felt very safe during the whole experience. They even detoured to a different island for safety where they had 'back up' huts provided. We meet people on an island the next day who were with another boat tour and said they meet 7 metre waves and had to resort to docking on an island and taking shelter in a school with minimal facilities. The accomadation even though it was very basic huts, it was Very well set up and much better than I was expecting. Communication with the staff was excellant from start to finish. This took a lot out of our budget and considered giving it a skip but so glad we didn't. Couldn't recommend this tour any higher. We travelled for 5 months and its one of the main highlights of all our travels.

This was probably my favorite part of my Philippines trip. I was looking for a more authentic experience, I was looking to have that virgin paradise island feeling and to be honest I had this an more. We visit the most beautiful isolated islands, slept on the basecamps - which were basic but so so beautiful with bamboo huts, beautiful beaches, delicious food - , met an amazing group of people and share with the crew. The crew guys were so lovely and funny, it is a great opportunity to share time with locals and understand their way - Vinho, Sami, George and all the other guys were just amazing and this trip would have not been the same without them. We had beautiful nights under the stars singing and playing guitar, siping rhum and laughing. This is not a party boat - I was scared of that - but it is a great space to enjoy nature while enjoying the company of other great travelers and the crew. It definitely is adventurer and not for everyone so make sure this is your type of trip - what i mean by that is that you are ready to be wet as you swim constantly to snorkle or to the island you are visitng, as well as to the base camp, be ready to spend a lot of time sailing (i personally loved it and the boat is big enough so you can find a spot to lay or sit by yourself and enjoy the landscape), be ready to sleep in simple accommodation, shower with a bucket and have the time of your life!! couldnt recommend this trip more. LOTS OF LOVE TO YOU GUYS!

We did reservation for late april 3d2n trip like 2-3 months before the trip. Noone knew than that corona virus will be such thing. Customer service was polite and resposive. We decided to cancel the reservation because closedown on march and just not sure situation in europe where we come from. Money was returned after just quick talk. 3 Days later they were back on my paypayl. This is not recommendation of the trip but BIG YES for customer service and they honesty. I know it must be hard for tourist industry on Philipines so big thanks for understanding. I will book with them again also can recommend to anyone. Its safe bet. Stay safe and see you.

Big shout-out to Buhay Isla. Due to the whole Corona virus outbreak we weren't able to make the trip. But the communication of Buhay Isla towards us was exceptional. They kept us updated about the whole situation and offered us a full refund of the trip after it got canceled because of all the lockdowns in the Philippines (we had our trip in a few days). Even though they must have been so busy, communication went fast en fluently and we got the full refund back within a few days. Buhay Isla, thank you for your great service. When things get calmer, we will definitely come back to you!

A more than professional tour operator that goes above and beyond! 5* for communication, 5* for helpfullness, 5* for courtesy, 5* for the crew and 5* for fairness. I've booked a 3D2N tour for 10pax from 13th of March (2020) ... YES.. just at the time when coronavirus exploded and the president declared a full suspension on air travel across The Philippines. :( Even though the other 8 pax cancelled their trip Buhay Isla Ecotour was willing to take us out to the sea and start the trip. We had a fantastic lunch after a refreshing snorkeling and turtle watch.. just before the bad news hit in. We had to turn back immediately..... The crew recognized our desperate mood in no time and started to serve beers and rum cokes and even they served banana nutella dessert to mitigate the panic. After all these they took us back to the port and we received a total refund!! I think this is what we call: quality service. Lee, and to all the Staff: thank you for everything! We will return for sure and will do the trip with you next time! :)
