- Mallo_PahanenHelsinki, Finland977 contributionsA decent beach near El NidoNacpan and twin beach are right next to each other and there are plenty of services here. There are also quite a lot of tourists, and thus the services also stand out from the good restaurants. It is a reasonable distance from El Nido and the road to get there is not the best in the world as there are sandy sections between the paved road. You can easily get there by scooter, and if you're looking for real peace, then drive to Dul right away.Visited November 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 27, 2023
- Marc BBrisbane, Australia265 contributionsThe BestNicest beach I have ever been to, not including remote islands. 1500ph for round trip from El Nido Town. 500ph for a sunbed for the day. Heaps of food and drink options nearby. Great way to spend a day.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 3, 2024
- MIRADoha, Qatar577 contributionsOne of the best beachesThis beach is located in the north of El Nido and it is about 17km from center. We stayed in coron-coron area, so we drove about 30-35 min to reach the beach by bike. Road is okey, just some part closed to the beach out of asphalt but still drivable. Nacpan Beach is about of four km sand beach with clear water. Perfect for families. There are some restaurants to dine in and connect to wife. Beautiful spot for sunset.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 20, 2024
- eglier1Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates106 contributionsWonderful Beach! An amazing beach to be honest, long and with white sand. I did enjoy the place with my family, it also offers several options for dine in including few hotels and local restaurants. I liked the breakfasts in Mad Monkey! The beach is fully recommended!Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 31, 2024

This beach was by far one of my Highlights from the Philippines. We stayed in El Nido town and we took a Tuk Tuk to Nacpan beach, the journey takes one hour in a Tuk Tuk. Myself and 3 friends wore all in the one Tuk, which I do not recommend doing as it’s a long journey. It cost 800peso each way and your driver will wait for you for the whole day, which I felt bad about him doing but he insisted because it’s hard to get back from and plus he probably made 3days cash in one day. He was so nice and we tipped him extra peso also.
The beach had such a good vibe, lovely sand and the water was amazing with big waves. We had food in a bar on the beach quiet fancy (can’t remember the name) but you won’t miss it, stunning food and great views. It beside the “I ❤️ Nacpan” sign.
Beautiful beach Beautiful day Beautiful vibe
Enjoy 👌🏽

Nacpan Beach in El Nido is fine-sanded and wide, with expansive ocean views. Lovely to walk along since there is quite a good length to it. There are some comfortable accommodations with one major restaurant but right now, we liked that it's still not overly commercialized and crowded.
Bring bug spray though!

If you have a spare day in El Nido, definitely book a day trip to Nacpan beach. It was only a short distance away but we had the most enjoyable day. There are seats with shade available for around 500 pesos right on the beach and some have table service for food and drinks. The water was so clear and beautiful, and we stayed to watch the sunset. Highly recommend!

Not worth the time spent getting there. I took a mini-van roundtrip which left from downtown El Nido (600 pesos RT per person). In case you are wondering, taking a trike is about 1000 pesos roundtrip but I wouldn't do it because part of the road is dirt and the trikes and local vehicles kick up a lot of dust and create exhaust that you'd otherwise breathe in.
there are some restaurants there, outdoor massage, nothing interesting or amazing to see here, which I had spent the time walking around time or relaxing elsewhere....

If you find yourself in the El Nido area with some time on your hands, we can recommend a trip to this beach. It’s about a 40 minute van ride. The beach itself is very beautiful and well kept. The approach roads could do with some upgrading. If you are lucky enough to get a calm day, it’s a very enjoyable experience. Now the downside. The caterers at the beach leave something to be desired. They are anxious for your business, but if you have any criticism of the manner in which they deliver their services, you find yourself in the category of being ignored. For us, this is based on a lunch order which was cocked up by the kitchen and when we expressed our dissatisfaction, we were punished by being ignored thereafter. It did unfortunately leave a bad taste in the mouth, if you pardon the pun, on what should have otherwise been a very pleasant day.

Stayed at the Nacpan beach mad monkey for 2 wild nights. The staff were all so helpful. The front desk crew Abegal, Russel, and Kate were all so funny nice. I continued to lose stuff and they always found it for me. Rizza the manager was super fun and also very helpful and caring. The reps Jayden and Mart were awesome. They always kept the party going and made sure everyone got to know each other and become one big happy family. You must stay here if your looking for a fun party hostel. Also go on the boat tour it was a blast! Also shoutout to the kitchen some of the best meals I've had this trip!

Perfect place to unwind from El Nido town's hustle and bustle.
45 mins by tricycle from El Nido; which i personally would'nt recommend if your partner is 6 ft tall haha. My husband had difficulty in the tryk as he has long legs and there quite a few bumpy roads.

We travelled by tuktuk from corong corong (600 pesos one way; tuktuks from Nacpan are more expensive- told 1000 pesos one way but bartered down to 800). It took 45 minutes. The beach is lovely and clean for the majority of it; golden sands, palm tree lined. The waves were huge when we were there and the red flags up so swimming wasn’t so easy but I’d imagine on calmer days the swimming is glorious. We walked the entire length of the beach and it doesn’t take long to get away from everyone and have your own secluded bit of sand. There is shade from palm trees along the beach and you can also hire parasol and loungers. There were more restaurants there than we were expecting. It wasn’t really busy but there were a few tourists around. The sunset was beautiful and silvery!
It’s a shame about the ATVs who I can only assume are for lazy people who can’t be bothered to walk the length of the beach but want to see it so jump on noisy vehicles and ruin the calm, peaceful serene experience others wish for. The tyre marks ruin the look of the beach too.

The sand is pristine and the colours wonderful of the sea and lush green foliage of the coconut trees. However, on our visit the red flags were out and so one was allowed only to paddle basically to stay safe. A pity, I’m not sure how frequently bathing is restricted and how to check this out on line.
You normally get here by trike which is fine but the road is partially a track only so be warned you’ll be in for a bumpy ride.

Ciao a tutti.

Hi Walter,
We stayed in two places, North and South of the airport. We stayed in Nacpan Beach, where you can swim freely. However it is about 40 minutes of rough road to get there. South of the airport, Viewdeck Cottages, we were about 15-20 minute walk to the town center. I don't think you can swim at the beaches there as the boats are coming in and out. We hired a boat to take us island hopping and scuba diving. It's really the best way to go to see the ocean blues or the turquoise teal.
Below are the places we stayed at:
Airbnb - The One and Only at Nacpan Beach, EL NIDO
El Nido Viewdeck
Hope that helps a bit.
Enjoy your travels!

Hello,
Is there a possibility to rent a scooter directly in Nacpan beach somewhere?
Thanks
Written January 29, 2023
Hi. You probably can make arrangements with your accommodation. They isn't a "place" to rent it. We rented from our AirBNB in Nacpan Beach.

Are there any options in Nacpan to do the island hopping tours that regularly depart from El Nido? We are planning to stay 4 nights in Nacpan but want to be sure we would be able to access the islands even paying a little more.
Written October 2, 2019
I am not too sure about island hopping in Nacpan. We hired a motorcycle from El Nido to Nacpan beach. And most of the tours depart at El Nido unless you hire a private boat from Nacpan. Your hotel should be able to help you.

Is there much access to free wifi around Nacpan Beach? Or near Mad Monkey Hostel? TIA
Written September 19, 2019
There is a restaurant along side the beach that has wifi. ON the actual beach I do not recall if the restaurant's wifi reached. Sorry

Its the longest beach area in El Nido, the next longest is in San Vicente. 4kms.
Nacpan Beach is a 4-km strip of powdery paradise north of El Nido town proper. The coconut lined beach faces a small cove next to Base Bay. The stretch runs southward to meet its twin — Calitang Beach. Together, they form a cape that sticks out to the sea that can get rough without warning. A small, palm crowned, grass-covered hill marks the spot where the two ivory beaches meet. Small islands dotting the bay can also be seen clearly from the beach.

Hey! Is there any way i can get to nacpan at night? like 9-10 pm. Thanks!

You could find someone to drive you on a tricycle. Have them stick around if you don't want to get left there.
