We arranged a local skipper to take us (2 adults and 2 children 7yrs & 9yrs) around some beaches with good snorkelling for the day for 1000 peso. Haligi beach was stop #2.
There are 2 small straw huts selling drinks and snacks - many people bring their own picnics and relax for a few hours before moving on.
There were a few boats on the beach but plenty of room for everyone. The snorkelling in the bay was AMAZING - on par with Coral Garden and a lot less busy. Well worth the visit.

Went here to get some quiet, sunburn and a BBQ. I rented a boat that took me and colleagues here for a traditional Filippo BBQ (BEER SMP/SML Pork belly, chicken and fish....: oh don’t forget rice). Water was crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling. Easy to find a boat the locals will pester you but you can negotiate prices, food and beer. They all want the business if they ask 3500 pesos tell them 2000 pesos if they say no turn around and go to the next guy standing there and he will say 2500 pesos.

This was the last stop of our island-hopping tour. Beautiful, clean and clear water, ideal for swimming. Enjoy halo-halo or mais con hielo by the beach.

A small beach, accessible only by banca (private boat). One must prepare own barbecue/picnic. A drawback is lack of bins and bad habit of rubbish being left behind by others. Please take care of your own clean up!

The location is quite small but not crowded at all. You can reach it with one of the many boats in the area and enjoy a few hours of snorkeling and relax on the beach. Bring your own food and water supplies as there are no establishments on the beach.

Went here as part of daily free island boating tour from.the resort we stayed in coco beach :)
The place s calm, quite, nd not crowded. There are some sellers but thats ok.. They dont really insist much and leave you to enjoy..
The beach is clean the water is clear and got lots of fishes even u dont go far.
Better to bring your own snorkelling gear to enjoy the underwater..
Good weather is a plus... Nice to take photo..

This well protected beach is a must day trip for anyone who visits Puerto Galera. Absolutely wonderful corals and fish abound up to the waters edge. Huts are available for a small hire price and barbecues are available to cook lunch. Seriously don't miss this.

Nice white compact sand and clean beach. Safe for kids but just let them wear aqua shoes. You can snorkle here or rent small boats for 200/head (inclusive of boat & snorkeling-life vest set rental) you can feed the fish while snorkeling and holding onto the boat's lateral bamboo outriggers. You may also bring extra crumbs because the bread provided by the boatmen will be eaten lightning fast by the fish. My 2, 3 & 5 yr old kids enjoyed this activity.
The water is clean, snorkeling is safe & the boat tour system is so organized. Bring your water, snacks & sun block.

can we just take the boat there and not the tour or does the boat come with the tour?

How to go here from white beach? Is there an entrance fee? do we need to rent at least a cottage to be here?
Written November 23, 2016
You need to hire a boat to take you there. There is literally nothing if not sand and water.
