Interesting place to see, not really a "tourist town"

Interesting little seaside town. Set up well to support the local scuba industry but that’s about it. The entire place is packed and you will be sold to, propositioned, etc many... read more

Interesting little seaside town. Set up well to support the local scuba industry but that’s about it. The entire place is packed and you will be sold to, propositioned, etc many, many, many times. Never felt really unsafe but definitely had head on a swivel walking around. I looked high and low for decent souvenirs without much luck….it just isn't... More

Great diving and beach stay. I would not take children there, especially at night due to the over abundance of prostitution.

I wasn't a big fan of Sabang. It's nice to visit and it's ok for partying in the evening. I preferred to stay in a quiter resort and just visit Sabang in the evenings for a bit of partying. The bay is really busy (relative to other areas) and it put me off staying there. Although it is worth exploring... More

We stayed in the resort here. The town was quaint and we enjoyed the local side of things. Fun place to walk through.

Although it enjoys crystalline waters, dont expect sandy beaches here (nearby are some), not even beautiful streets to fulfill tourist expectations. But expect FUN. Sabang is full of contrast, from traditional Filipino lodges to fancy resorts with infinity pools. Flooded with nice restaurants of all categories, and with more bars that you can actually ask for, Sabang beach makes an... More

It's always fun to go into Sabang and explore the alleyways and shops with the family. There are some really good restaurants and gift shops as well as a couple of good dive equipment shops.

We travelled from Batangas to Sabang via all I can call it is, a very large banka boat, the trip over was horrendous, purely because of the weather, the return journey, using the same very large banka boat, was fine, the weather had changed. Now this is what I can't understand, we are in the Philippines, all we have done... More

Sabang is a very nice place to stay. The night life is good there with many restaurants and bars. During the day you can dive near and see incredible reefs, wrecks, marine animals. Beside you can visit small laguna beach, Big laguna beach. You can rent a moped and visit the surroundings : Puerto Galeras, White beach, water falls....

There's several things to do in Sabang. Bar crawls are really easy because the strip that all the bars are on is really short. There's at least probably 15 different watering holes you can go to. Several are girly bars I would say 6 or 7 maybe 8 girly bars. There's some outdoor bars, one of them being Big Apple... More

If you stay anywhere in the Puerto Galera area Sabang is the best place for restaurants and bars, and the only place for disco clubs and adult entertainment. It also has a number of dive clubs with full dive equipment and instructors. However there is no suitable beach in Sabang.
