Relaxed atmosphere during the day, some interesting characters around. Not much of a beach their and a there is a environment tax on arrival when you arrive by boat. Watch out as I was both short changed and given the old currency which is out of circulation by the tax official. The area has a variety of bars and shops,... More

This is a good place for nightlife as lots of bars and clubs, it's a place for divers and diving but there's no beach although you can travel to one that's not too far away. Plenty of places to eat and drink.

Don't go and expect to relax on a beach to catch some rays. This is not the place for you. Want to dive in the daytime and party at night? Then go and enjoy. There really isn't much of a beach. Mostly rocky some sand areas but it's not ideal. A few good restaurants and bars. Something for everybody. Keep... More

Sabang offers some of the best diving you can find in the world. Not yet destroyed by tourism but lively enough to have a lot of fun. Many PADI 5 star resorts with well maintained compressors.

Perfect location for diving. You don't stay on the beach nor take a swim from the beach. But there are beaches 19 min walking from Sabang if you want to swim.

A nice enough 'beach resort town', even if there really isn't a beach in the usual sense. Also, it was a bit slow in July, the beginning of the 'low season'. Prices were flexible; a bit of bargaining helped - sometimes!

I visited during July (off season) and I almost had the place for myself (not literally). The dive resorts were quite quiet (stayed at Blue Ribbon) but the diving was some of the best I have experienced! The water temperature is around 30C during the summer compared to the cooler waters in winter, so even for that reason I would... More

I have been to Sabang several times and it has no failed to deliver all it is billed as. There is warm people in the bright early mornings when people are staging to go back to the mainland. I was always happy to have Breakfast at Eddies Bar and Restaurant in the mornings. Quiet and soul refreshing watching the low... More

Perhaps as a family with young kids we are biased but this is really not a place to visit unless you are looking for diving or dinning. The beach is virtually non existent. It is obviously the main entertainment town of Puerto Galera area. As a family it also seemed that apart from the diving shops and hotels it was... More

Excellent for scuba diving- even the shore dives from Sabang Beach are great. Wreck of the Alma Jane was quite cool and only a few hundred yards offshore. Not a great place for just swimming/ usual beach activities as the beach itself is mostly rocky, shallow and has quite a bit of dive boat traffic. For diving/snorkeling though it was... More
