According to internet reviews this place had annual event called festival Danau Ranau, but it was sad because after driving about 7 hours which the views along the way is good and the Danau itself was good. No facilities attached in this place.

We are travelling from Jakarta and visit this place for 1 night on 1 Jan 2018. The hotel (wisma pusri) is extremely dirty with many insects in the room. It is very old and not been maintained at all. The lake and surrounding is full of garbage when we arrived. The lake is also poorly managed despite the nice view..

Ranau Lake is one of the well-known lakes in Lampung. Currently Ranau Lake is divided into two parts, South Sumatera and West Lampung,Ranau Lake part pekon Lombok located in West Lampung, 24 km from Liwa, this lake surrounded by hills and Mt Seminung.road leading to the lake is not good, a lot of potholes and from Liwa to Ranau Lake ± 60 minutes.For the facilities there, Seminung Lumbok Resort. Located on the shores of Ranau Lake, District Seminung Lumbok, has an area of approximately 15 hectares.

Lumbok - Ranau, beautiful scenery

I like taking pictures while being in Lumbok Village next to Ranau lake. Calm water, Seminung mountain on the background.a homsetay owned Pak solihin is best place to see the lake. I also like culinary of fresh water fish from this lake. no delay from lake to your pan... Lumbok village is part of Lampung province. while other visitors visit this lake on other part ie Banding Agung which is part of Sumatera Selatan Province.

The beauty in a suburb places

This place has an amazing view and good to relax. But it is far from any atm and shops. So be prepare. But once you arrived you will be amaze by the scenery and the hot water bath from the nature also good for your body.

The second largest lake in Sumatera after Lake Toba

A quiet surrounding fulfilled with coffee plantations.
To reach this area we have to spend more than 6-7 hours from Bandar Lampung or from Palembang. But if you like to have a quiet place with magnificent view of the lake and the mountain, this place will please you.
