“Titik 0 Kilometer Yogyakarta” is not an ordinary crossing, most fun hanging out here above at 12 AM actually (for me who sometimes look for a quieter atmosphere), even though at 12 AM there is no guarantee this place is quiet. Why? “Titik 0 Kilometer Yogyakarta” can be said to be the “Yogyakarta’s pulse”. Besides its strategic location, it is located at the end of Jalan Malioboro, not far from the Palace of Yogyakarta, Vredeburg Fort, where many people hang out spending the night playing or listening to music, or just taking selfies. Surrounded by old buildings from the Dutch era (especially the 3 surrounding buildings, BNI Building, Bank Indonesia Building, and Indonesian Post Office Building), the wide surrounding sidewalks are made of beautiful marble stones with greening around them making spot in “Titik 0 Kilometer Yogyakarta” as one of the instragamable and ethnic spots in the city of Yogyakarta.
In addition, “Titik 0 Kilometer Yogyakarta” is one of the witnesses of history, including a major battle for maintained Indonesia's independence, a battle known as the "Serangan Umum March 1, 1949" (general attack March 1, 1949).

The Titik 0 Km area is almost never empty of community activities, starting from the morning, afternoon, evening, until night, even in the middle of the night there are still people hanging out and passing by there. Administratively, the Titik Nol Yogyakarta area belongs to the Ngupasan Village area, Gondomanan District. Yogyakarta city. The area is in the form of an intersection that brings together four road segments, namely Jalan KH. Ahmad Dahlan from the west side, Margo Mulyo Road from the north side, Panembahan Senopati Street from the east side, and Jalan Pangurakan from the south side.

This site is downtown center of Yogyakarta. This place is near some historic buildings like royal and presidential palaces, March 1 attack museum and the post office.
This place is always crowded by people like when I went there on eid el fitr holiday. There were many people just sat and talk or enjoy the afternoon.

It is extremely crowded here, especially at night. Scores of people, both locals and foreigners alike love taking pictures here. This place is indeed a very historical place in Yogyakarta and I believe many artists have taken inspirations from the buildings here and put them into paintings and also arts and crafts products. I love the vibe here.

This place is the center of downtown Yogyakarta. There are a lot of people enjoy sight seeing and walk here. There are also many people take pictures with old and historical buildings as background, or just sit and enjoy the ambience.
This place will be full of people on weekends like new year's eve.
