We take our kids to this place in the middle of our relax time at our hotel. Surprisingly the kids love it, they asked questions, taking photos and enjoying every moment of the tour. It also their advance time to know about history...thanks

Piece of historical adventure. Old fashioned museum. You would like it if you like visiting museums otherwise you would be better off wandering the alleys of Malioboro or the markets.

Unless you are Indonesian or Dutch, and take a special interest in Dutch colonial rule and / or the Indonesian struggle for independence, there is really nothing to see in Vredeburg.

closed on mondays. One of good spot for potoghraphy. tourist can visit some museum in this benteng vredeburg. located near with Malioboro

Strategically located in Malioboro Street with really affordable enterance fee. Exhibits consisted by touchscreen monitor (which some of them were broken) and dioramas. Beautiful computer effects in compiling all the stories of the city and beautiful layout. Worth to spend time. but make sure be there before 4pm. Otherwise you will have to wait next day
