What could possibly top the amazing Candi Borobudur, the awe inspiring sunrise at Punthuk Sethumbu and the charming beauty of the village as you trek up to Candi Selogriyo? Well, the Culinary Tour from Via Via definitely puts up a good challenge to them! Our guides, Filzah and Wiwi, took us on an unforgettable gastronical adventure on their motorcycles around... More

We had such a wonderful time with our 2 young lady guides, Flizah & Wi Wi, where we ate & sampled lots of food ie Bakpia factory, lotek, snacks, bakmi, ronde and we had such a hilarious time throughout it all especially at Alun Alun, where we played and eat some more like kids! The 2 ladies were wonderful and... More

This agency propose more than the basic lift and way back to Borobudur and Prambanan. A lot of different activities such as cycling, hicking, rock climbing, rafting and more, and some activities mixing sport and tourism. You'll have an awesome contact with the guide and depending on your chance with the locals. Really nice agency and hotel. I'll go again... More

Staff is very helpful and accessible for tourists. They arrange a huge variety of trips. We tried motorcycle trip to Prambanan and hidden temples and it was an unforgettable experience. They also have an amazing cooking course. If you like making food, I highly recommend it! We had so much fun! Thank you for all your help and hospitality Via... More

We spent a full morning (4 hours) with Fifi biking around Jodja. It was a rare moment, the way we like it. We spent time to bike, discuss, exchange, practice activities in the villages around Jodja. We first biked for ten minutes in the town before arriving in the villages. We biked in the villages and among rice fields. Fifi... More

From start to finish this was a supremely positive experience. I called two days before we wanted to go and nothing was a problem. Even though I could have just paid the guide on the day we decided to swing by yesterday - we had dinner at the restaurant too - and the office staff were super friendly, as were... More

We booked the "Borobodur Sunrise" and "Prambanan and Hidden Temples" tours at ViaVia. There are various travel agencies in the street, but ViaVia beats them easily with their wide selection of unusual tours (even though we ended up choosing the "standards" ...) The restaurant, store, and bakery have a great atmosphere and you feel welcome and part of the family.... More

Booked a village tour by bike via Via Via (hehe) and it turned out great! Our supernice guide Filza gave us an insight into everyday life of people from a rural suburb of Jogja. We planted and harvested rice, visited a krupuk-factory, watched a brick-maker at work and much more. Very nice and interesting day and all by bike, so... More

I joined a Vinyasa flow class & was quite disappointed. Even if we were just the two of us the teacher just focused on her own. As the level of me & the other woman who was a beginner was totally different I just felt bored throughout the entire lesson & the teacher never let me to do some more... More

I can't speak to the restaurant and home-stay personally but can enthusiastically recommend the community-based sightseeing and experiential workshops that ViaVia offers. Located in the southern tourist zone of Yogyakarta city, ViaVia's operating philosophy all involve local people involvement and "give back" to the local community. They are also incredible good value for money. Some of the tours/ workshops that... More
