Rich culture and educational trip. Great for family with children. Strollers and infant not recommended because lots of stairs to climb.

The Sewu temple is located to the North of the Parambanan park. Easily accessible if you are able to walk the 10/15 minutes to the top of the park. Definitely worth seeing. Much of the complex is still in ruins following earthquakes over the years,...More

Interesting temples, lovely grounds. There is something for everyone here including children. Don't be surprised if you're a westerner and school kids want to take a picture with you.

Took taxi to Temple from the hotel. Took about 45 minutes. As usual, had to pay for parking - no drop off area. Charges more for foreign tourist than local. We self toured and took photos. Long walk. Take water.

Big shopping malls offer major brands, but it is not too much cheaper than Europe. Durian season starts in November.

I'm travelling alone but enjoy others company on tours I'd love to do TOUR (preference) OR DRIVER/GUIDE (English speaking) to go to the following places: - Borobudur (for Sunrise - which means I'll stay at the Manohara Hotel on Thurs night) - Prambanan (inc Sewu Temple and Ratu Boko Palace/Temple if I have time) - Open to other suggestions but do not...More

At this point, you must bring all your luggage with you after checking out from Manohara since it's not practical to leave it at Manohara and then do city tour, go back manohara, and then go to airport...
