An Amazing and Memorable 5 days Experience

Had a wonderful time in Jogjakarta thanks to Lovely Borobodur Tours. The treatment we have gotten exceeded all our expectations. The highlight was the Jomblang cave and the sunrise view from Punthuk Setumbu which the kids enjoyed. Our driver, Yudi was very friendly, obliging and thoughtful with all our requests. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs which includes driving us to places that offer delicious, authentic, local meals for bebek, klatak, bakso and Timang lobster as well as stopping at a mushollah for prayers. I was in contact with Tugasmin on the itinerary and the rates quoted were very reasonable. He was also quick to respond to all our queries.

6D5N Yogyakarta Solo 2023

The 6D5N Yogyakarta Solo Trip let me explore and understand more about past empayer in Indonesia. The Borobodur temple is really splendid and majestic. Prambanan temple is really amazing and a showcase of great civilization with stone carving all over the temple wall. The Daeng Plateu is a sight to admire with breeze touching our cheeks all the way. Solo city is also offer a good spot to enjoy especially the temples and refreshing waterfall. Our guide, Mr Galih is a friendly and nice young man and very accommodating to all our needs and request. He is always punctual and we feel safe to let him drive us as he always put safety first as his priority. He also give full explaination at every place we visit to let us understand the history of each place. We are very happy and satisfied with this trip and give us a good memory to bring back to our country.

Great 3 day tour of Jogja, super agent support

Visit to Prambanam, Borobudur, lava tour, Ramayana play and then the backstreet market (searching for spices) and the cafe in the middle of shimmering rice fields, in that order, though the list of highlights is longer. Overall, the agency quoted very reasonable rates, guide/driver were friendly and flexible....and to any query, Lovely Tours would respond in minutes...never left you hanging for a reply.

My tour experience of the Borobudur Temple on December 2022

The tour guide for the Borobudur Temple at the cost of 150,000 rupiah was good at explaining to us in English on the Borobudur temple. The place is big in area and it is best if you have the guide to escort you out of the temple otherwise you may be at risk of walking the extra distance. Ignore the petty traders on souvenirs otherwise all of them will be following you everywhere.

Unforgettable adventure in Jomblang cave

Unforgettable trip to Jomblang cave. The adventure was tough but interesting, and the magnificence of the light made all the exhaustion worthy. It’s really nice to see the light on the last day of 2022 and hope it would bring good luck to 2023

Borobudur afternoon tour with Galih was great!

We went with Galih to Borobudur as an afternoon tour and it was a really great experience! He is a very safe driver and a really nice person to talk to, so we felt comfortable from the first minute. Since Galih is also a licensed guide and knows Borobudur very well, he could show us around and we didn't need to book an English-speaking guide there. Even though it started raining, it was still fun and after the rain stopped we had Borobudur almost to ourselves :) We'd definitely recommend going with Galih to visit Borobudur if you're in Jogja!

Two amazing tours!

I did the full day tour at Borobudur with the sunrise before at Punthuk Setumbu and then the temple visit, followed by the lava tour and Prambanan. It was amazing! The temples are stunning and unique. We were even able to visit two other small temples near Borobudur (Pawon and Mendut) and the Mendut monastery. I had a private tour with Dodo, who was really friendly, polite and reliable. He was also very flexible given how much we packed into one day! It was definitely a long day but everything worked with the timing. The tours were very well priced compared to other tour operators. I enjoyed the tour so much that I booked the Jomblang cave activity for the following day with Dodo as my driver again. I highly recommend all the activities with them!

Tumpak Sewu and Goa Tetes Cave

Paleng bagus !!!!
It was a seamless experience from booking, to the actual trip. Our guide was the man of the waterfall. He helped one of us climb down and up by putting his hand out as a ledge for our friend to step on. He went out of his way to take photos and videos of us, and made it into a reel with music after. His photography skills were top notch - would definitely hire him as my wedding photographer. He made us feel safe throughout and took care of the entire group, and was so assuring. 😍💕

Truly a lovely time in Borobudur

We had such a great tour with Galih. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. A huge plus was he spoke perfect English and just spoke about the temple with such depth and feeling. And another bonus we need to add was that he was an excellent photographer! We were very happy with our experience at Borobudur and would recommend this tour and Galih to anyone.

Mt Sindoro Guided Trek

Whilst visiting Yogyakarta I was super interested in challenging myself by doing a hike up Mt Sindoro. Initially I wasn’t too sure how to go about organising such a tour, however I found the Wonderful Borobudur tour website and connected with there organisation through WhatsApp. I had all inquires answered with a high level of professionalism and I was able to receive lots of information about hiking programs in proximity to Jogja. The tour itself was great, our driver Pak Dodo picked us up on the agreed time and was a super lovely host to my friends and I as we drove to the Sindoro base camp! Our tour guides were super amazing, Ramli in particular was an extremely patient, well experienced trek guide and a genuinely kind person. On the way down from the top of the mountain the track was damp and I kept slipping, but Ramli literally held my hand and helped me down every step of the way! Our other tour guide (I think he called himself ‘B’) was also really supportive , encouraging me to continue all the way to the top , even when I felt like I couldn’t do it ! he didn’t give up on me!

Would recommend this tour to my friends and family! But beware, it is a challenge! be prepared for adventure!
