MONAS is must visit if you come to Jakarta, Huge golden flame in the top of monument ,symbol of the Indonesian spirit that never die , Monument that unite all nation in Indonesia as one BIG INDONESIA, you can see jakarta view's up from there.

A nice, clean and well manicured open space adjacent to the national museum. The monument is very impressive - I didn't go up to the top but you can. If you want a very pleasant stroll, come here.

The place is much better compared to previous years. Only 2 entrance left. Park surrounding the monument is much cleaner. Nice place to bring family

actually all gates are open but only 1 open for vehicle, so it's for parking area for the gates very close to gambir is always close this gate is the one which facing into US embassy but all other 3 gates are always open... More

If you wait for the little transportation bus they have when you enter; it will take you directly to where you have to enter. Great place to go to see and read about Indonesian history and it's struggle for independence.
