Good place to relax and have fun with family or friends. Monas has a 100 hectare park around it with grass fields and walkways. Good for picnics, football/soccer and other recreation

とにかく広いです。シンガポールからジャカルタに行きましたが観光地よりは公園の要素が強いです。近くに露店などもあるので機会があれば何か買ってみるのもおすすめ。 I came here from Singapore. it’s not for sightseeing place but you can enjoy a picnic with your family. I guess there’s where you can eat something on the entrance.

Just a monument with a historical value. It's okay to see from the distance. But I'm not sure whether it's worth to pay IDR 35,000 to get inside. I didn't go inside.

actually all gates are open but only 1 open for vehicle, so it's for parking area for the gates very close to gambir is always close this gate is the one which facing into US embassy but all other 3 gates are always open... More

If you wait for the little transportation bus they have when you enter; it will take you directly to where you have to enter. Great place to go to see and read about Indonesian history and it's struggle for independence.
