Came for a visit after living here many year . Was pleasantly surprised. Is a nice park and monument. Park is clean and caters for chilling out, picnic or running , etc. Definitely worth coming to chill out and relax

In the night the good time to visited. U can see a lots of light arround Monas and see every people to take exercises in the night. U must visit if u first time to Jakarta because Monas is symbols of Jakarta.

actually all gates are open but only 1 open for vehicle, so it's for parking area for the gates very close to gambir is always close this gate is the one which facing into US embassy but all other 3 gates are always open... More

If you wait for the little transportation bus they have when you enter; it will take you directly to where you have to enter. Great place to go to see and read about Indonesian history and it's struggle for independence.
