I have been to aquariums in Singapore and Malaysia as well and considering what they have got, Jakarta aquarium is less atractive. I will recommend the place only for kids and family. However, do consider the entrance ticket since it is expensive.

Have visited this Aquarium in 29 Dec 2019. The visit which was supposed to be great vacation to my kids turn into horrible one : 1. We purchased the ticket through traveloka 2. When we redeemed the ticket at around 10.10, we did not get clear information about the in and out regulation 3. At around 12.00 we tried to find Musholla to pray, but it was not existing inside, and then the staff inside suggested us to go to musholla of the mall. When we worried about we could not enter again, the staff said that we could go in and out anytime we liked as we hold premium ticket 4. After praying, we rushed to go back to the aquarium cause our kids would like to enjoy the mermaid show around 1 oclock. 5. After the show, we enjoyed the 5D movie which was very dissapointing. It is a room surround by TV from 3 sides, did not give any 5D effect at all. But it was okay, my kids were more focus to see the kinds of fish, especially my 2nd son. 6. Lunch time, we decided to go out the aquarium and ate in the mall. Fnished the late lunch because every restaurant was queueing, then we continued to pray ashar. We did not feel worried about the expire time because we never been told about that. 7. When we came back again, then we were not allowed to enter by the staff at the ticketing gate with the reason the time validity was only for 4 hours. You can imagine, my 2nd son was eager, really eager to see the penguin show, but failed. 8. I asked the staff to show me if there was any written rule mentioning the expire time, but he could not. Just explain to me that upon arrival should be explained by the ticketing staff, but unfortunately not. 9. I insisted to see the manager. And I met Ms. Jhet. But...oh no. The way she handled customer complaint was bad. She was not humble meeting me out of the counter. She handled with the counter barrier. Yes, she offered me to go inside, but my kids, and us were not in the mood. 10. She gave kids some suck sticker as service recovery...my kids after did not touch them at all. It was nightmare.... Suggestion 1. You cannot limit the time of in and out as you did not provide musholla inside. 2. If you really want to still limit the time, you should clearly stated in written. 3. Always respect your customer or they will never come back again

It is a 2-story facilities where you enter from the top level and exit at the lower level. Expect to spend at least 2-3 hours to enjoy the aquarium. They have lots of feeding time for different animals which requires you more time if you want to have it all. They offer 2 type of tickets: standard and premium. The premium gives you a 5D simulator experience as if you are in a sub-marine, around 5-10 mins, 25 people capacity. It also gives you multiple entry access for 4 hours from entry time. The 20 minutes mermaid show is a must-see attraction, located at the lower level, near exit. It's in English. Make sure you arrive earlier before the show as the seating is quite limited.check on the schedule as they only have 1-2 times shows/day. They also have a touch pool (non-dangerous shark, star fish, etc).

I’m went here on December 16th 2019, it was a great experience honestly. But the fees for the attractions quite overpriced! However, this place is good for young child to study about animal. But, I appreciate the cleanliness of the facility.
