It's a very nice place to learn muay thai. The instructors are very friendly and accomodating, even to beginner. They push and motivate us to do our best and learn the moves correctly. The place can use some clean up, but I love the positive vibes it has, so overall great place!

I've trained with Dee MT a few times now over the years, starting when they were at their old gym.
My last stay was in May this year (2017).
The new facilities are a step up from the old gym. The trainers are well rounded and there is a trainer for all levels and in my case "size". I'm old but I'm a bit bigger than the average trainer there.
I usually took the morning classes. They tend to be a bit cooler (in the weather sense). The ring and floor area are pretty good and though the bags are suffering from Bali Blight, they are still good heavy bags.
I generally did pad work with Pandy. Excuse the spelling if this is not correct. The young trainers are enthusiastic and always have smile on their faces.
I enjoyed the training especially from the weight loss point of view. I've done MT for quite a few years so was after more fitness than technique. I also carry quite a few injuries from years of MT. The trainers easily accommodated my lumps and bumps.
I also stayed on site in one of the budget bungalows. The accommodation is great value for money and cleaned every day.
There is 24 hour security on site and the owners live down the back in their own compound.
There is a huge fridge in the room if you are self catering and a small supermarket about 200 metres up the road.
The kitchenette is basic but practical. There were a few hot water issues and a leak while I was there but they were all sorted out as quickly as possible. It's fair to mention that the storm that caused the leak in my room was just short of Noah's great flood......If anything was going to leak it was that night.
I was offered an upgraded room but chose not to take up the offer because I had already settled in.
There is a local laundry just down the road and a great food cart across the road that I ate at every second day. I saw a few European types lined up at the cart so figured I was good to go. The Ayam goreng and Nasi uduk was so yummy and around $2AU.
I also ate at the restaurant next door which was good and well priced. A big step up in decor from the food cart but I'd take the food cart over the restaurant just about any day.
I ate at the cafe inside Dee MT. It's run by an Aussie lady who lives on site. The food is good and she can cater to any dietary requests/requirements.
The photos you see on the internet are indicative of the accommodation and facilities.
If you don't want to be woken at 6am every day to the sound of people smashing the heavy bag, ask for a bungalow further down the back near the pool.
Jl Nakula and the various shops are a good walk away. I walked down there and it took me around 30-45 minutes. I like to walk to get a feel for an area. Taxis are easy to get and if you take a photo of the Dee MT sign near their entrance the driver can use it as a point of reference.
My only little gripe was the sheets and pillow cases. They've seen better days and when you sleep on them every day, despite showering religiously, they get a bit manky. I found the easiest solution was to take them off the bed myself and leave them on the floor. They got changed then.
I recommend the accommodation and facilities for all travel groups, excluding the elderly as the stairs leading to the bungalows are treacherous.
Overall. I thoroughly recommend Dee Mt and the trainers.

We attended the 6pm MT classes for a week and had tons of fun.
The 90 minute classes were just 80k and typically attended by beginners and intermediates and the team of 5 local trainers ensured that everyone learnt something.
We also took a 1:1 class but found the lesson structure identical to the group class and didn't get a lot of individual feedback so probably wouldn't recommend it.
They have a small cafe that serves tasty snacks and some on site accommodation.
Unfortunately 6 months of rain coming through the roof had trashed the ring and left a permanent puddle in the centre that limited its use.
I just wish that they charged more money and fixed the roof!!!

My visit to Dee Muay Thai was amazing! All the trainers are so friendly, helpful and have great technique/tips whether your after fitness, beginner muay thai or fight prep. I have trained at a few camps in Thailand and Dee Muay Thai was just as good value for money, facilities and more one on one training time. I cant wait to go back and train there again!

Took my 13yr old to try it out. They were very professional and the environment was safe. He loved it. Thanks to the instructor for a great lesson.

I dropped by to train twice and really enjoyed my time here. Training sessions were well organised to manage the different levels and taxing enough to make sure all people had a good workout. The head trainer provides good feedback and clearly knows his stuff, emphasizing correct techniques and makes sure even more experienced staff learn something new.
I'll definately drop by next time I'm Bali.

Need to change you life style or re invent yourself , get fit and strong or just want to learn one of the best forms of martial arts then this is the place , I was so surprised to see so many visitors there from all over the world doing just that, heaps of girls training away with some of the best martial arts trainers with a full English language understanding , it's not just a training arena but a village with self contained brand new Balinese bungalows you can stay in , complete with a majestic over view of a luscious swimming pool and rice paddy back ground , they also have a little warung there too and it dishes up some real treats , we loved their burgers they were as good as any burger in Bali . And again it's just so good to mingle with overseas tourists with out a Bintang or Smirnoff in their hands . They play a range of good music and even just sitting in their warung watching every one going for is a lot of fun and easy to make friends if you like . Well done to the owners and management and all the trainers you really are awesome and inspiring

I've trained in Thailand and Australia, but this is the best one I've found. Great atmosphere, friendly team and so much fun. I've learnt so much since training here, gained fitness and loss weight. I love this gym!
