Tibet is an incredible place I've always wanted to visit, and going with best friends was really an awesome decision! From the start, Phurpu and Dawa was very helpful in planning our itinerary, applying and mailing us our travel permits, and helping us book everything in Tibet. Departing from Tingri County in Shigatse, Tibet, to reach the base camp of Mount Everest, must pass through this "ladder" first, "The Everest Highway (Zhufeng Road)", also known as "Everest 108 Turns", it has a series of hairpin turns that ordinary drivers dare not challenge. We are so lucky meet up Wangdue ! Best funny driver with Best memory ever in Tibet! We definitely will go back again❤️ #Tibet #Travel #Adventure #Friends #Memories

Tibet is not an easy place to visit for Japanese unless otherwise you have a well-knowleged and helpful tour guide like Phurpu! Our knowledge to visiting Tibet was so limited and we did not have enough time to make a plan… Thanks to Phurpu, he was so helpful and always text message though WeChat whenever we have problems.
After all, we did have a great journey that was more than we had expected!
During our trip, he took a great care of our health, a high attitude sickness, and kept asking us how we were. He has a good English skill and well knowledge on his culture, so we have enlarged our knowledge on Tibet.
We went to visit a few cities and Mt.Everest Camp. He was very flexible on our trip schedule, so he can always change the schedule to whatever is better. He could easily add some sightseeing on the list as long as the time permits!
I believe we could not enjoy the journey without him and an excellent driver, Thinley!
Indeed, we have again started discussing our next journey through WeChat with him!
I am looking forwards to seeing them again very very soon! Thank you!

I finally came to Mount Everest, an unforgettable trip.😊 We stayed in a tent at the Everest Base Camp for one night and saw the most beautiful sunset. The sky was full of stars at night. 🤩🦉Thanks to phurpu for helping us to set up a private 6-day itinerary, Mount Everest, Potala Palace, yamdrok lake and karola Glacier. My tour guide Dawa was very friendly and responsible. He took us to find the most beautiful scenery and food. 😛😛Special thanks to my driver Wangdue, he has first-class driving skills.😊If you are seriously motion sick, you must find him😁😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Tony goes above and beyond what you would normally expect from a tour agency. I know he has to be busy helping other clients, but I was amazed at how quickly he responded to my email inquiries. Most impressive was he had his brother-in-law personally deliver the TTP to my hotel the morning I left for Lhasa. My tour guide, Dolma, was very knowledgeable and gave me an excellent day tour of the sights in Lhasa. I found it an easy decision to choose him over other agencies I obtained quotes from. I would highly recommend Tibet Ctrip.

I was also in a group that was touring when the earthquake hit. Obviously, our plans to go to EBC and Nepal were scrapped, but Tony put together an alternate plan that was agreeable to everyone. In addition, one of our group had to be evacuated due to extreme altitude sickness. Tony helped get us back to civilization (an 8 hour journey), get him to a hospital and on a plane to Chengdu in the morning, at no additional cost, I would add. Later in the trip when we us got stopped at a police checkpoint, Tony drove in a taxi for several hours to deliver our passports.
There were a lot of unexpected issues on our trip, but Tony and his team were on top of it. In fact, I have to admit, we were probably a difficult group to work with. I can only imagine what could have happened if we had gone through a different agency that was only concerned with the fact that we paid our money. I'd also like to say that we initially were looking at a few different agencies, but decided to go with Ctrip because Tony was the only guy that actually called us back and made us feel at ease about booking with him.
Tibet is an amazing place that you have to see. Regardless of the issues, I think the trip was a total success. If (when) there are problems, you want a guy like Tony that will help you sort everything out. Totally recommend.

Thank you so much for your evaluation on Tibet Ctrip Travel Service-TCTS and we will keep trying our best to assure every of our customers happy travelling in Tibet. Thanks again and any assistance from Lhasa, lets stay in touch!

A picky traveller that I am, after careful comparison, chose Tibet Ctrip Travel Service, Lhasa for our Tibet trip last year. I did proper due diligence process which included talking to his past clients and review of his credentials.
Though the correspondence had been going on for about four months, exact dates of the trip were finalized only in early August for a trip commencing around September 1. Tony promptly started preparations and put everything in place well in time for us to take the flight to Lhasa.
Ours was a private trip just for me and my spouse. We went far out west Tibet. Both of us are very demanding and discerning customers. But Tony's arrangements, right from our pick up at Lhasa airport till our return flight, were superb and left little room for dissatisfaction or complaint.
Tony had to be away from Lhasa when we landed but his wife, and his colleague, Sonam, met us at the hotel, brought fruits for us and briefed us on the trip. The Tibetan Guide and Tibetan Driver provided were very good, helpful, courteous, friendly and well-informed. They helped us with errands and took care of our comfort throughout.
I highly recommend Tony for any Tibet tour.
We are once again in touch with Tony for our next trip later this year. With the experience and knowledge from our last trip, we are now even better equipped to plan.

Tony's superstar guide, Galek, was the best ever. Although we weren't allowed to go to base camp due to the quake, we had the best time possible. Tibet is a magical place and I highly recommend a trip there. Request Galek for your guide because he is a local and really knows his stuff and how to explain everything you see. Seriously, don't miss it!!!!

For us Tibet C trip service's was the only choice for planning our week long tour of Lhasa and Tibet, their pricing was very competitive and could only be matched by their sincerity and passion in giving us the most authentic and diverse traveling experience. The company is a trustworthy group of business and travel professionals and they make serving you the their passion. They not only made the process of getting the numerous permits needed to travel approved, but they also make the registration experience very clear and easy to follow. Furthermore with this company, you not only get a great travel package, but you also get a very authentic and diverse one, from stretching your legs through Lhasa's central Bazaar market to travelling to the country side to become enlightened by the view of Tibet's most oldest Buddhist temples. In addition they go above and beyond in organizing suitable lodging and transportation for you, don't worry you will have access to a toilet, washer and dryer. Traveling to Tibet on your own can be very grueling experience, make its simple, safe and memorable by allowing Tibet Ctrip travel services to serve you.

Hello: My wife and I are considering the 8-day private tour to Tibet including EBC. We have American Passports but live in Korea now. What visa papers do we need for this trip.
Thank you

Dear R Ayer,
this is tony from Tibet Ctrip Travel Service. You will enter Tibet from mainland China, am I correct? If so, we will need your passport photo copies and China visa photo copies to apply such permits and once permit is ready (normally 2 weeks before your arrival date), we can send permits to your hotel address in China before you fly to Lhasa, if you take the train to Lhasa, you will need permits photo copies (if the train is not from Chongqing, Xi'an and Lanzhou). For the tour details, you can send us one tour inquiry. the contact email box is as shown on our websites: Tibet Ctrip Travel Service or Tibet Travel Expert Service

I would like to take a tour that would take me to, Heavenly Lake, Potala Palace, Jokthank Temple and if possible one of the better monasteries, leaving me about two hours to browse thru Barkhor Street. Hello...we have a group of American travelers (5 adults) arriving in Lhasa on the quinghai Tibet railway train on September 29 late afternoon...we are interested in a three day tour that includes the palaces, monesteries, temples, chimpu caves and Lhasa lakes. I know this is a pretty ambitious itinerary but would like to know what you would suggest. We are all in good physical condition and are very active.
The dates are: arrive from chengdu on September 29 and depart Lhasa for paro, Bhutan on October 3 (not sure of flight yet). Thank you for your assistance.

Good morning from Lhasa, Linda! This is Tony. Here I can quickly give you information that: it is no problem for the tour including all big attractions in Lhasa such as Potala, Jokhang, Barkhor, Sera Monastery, Lake Yamdrok, and also the Chimpuk Caves hermitage. I would love to know that you will be in Chengdu on Sept.28 and fly by early morning flight to Xi'ning to take the one day train to Lhasa, is this right? From Lhasa there is no direct flight to Paro-Bhutan, but you can fly to Kathmandu firstly for sure. For the tour program and pricing, I can only answer you via emails. Please follow this site link on TA and you can easily get our email address and lets keep in touch there more instantly.
Best regards with peace and joy!

Just to be sure I have this right - the $350 per person doesn't include meals, correct? You quoted "around" $350 - is that the price I can rely on for sure if I have double occupancy? If I can't get someone to share the room, what is the single occupancy price? Also, the group visa is $105 - $195 per person? That seems high. As soon as I get definite answers on these questions, I'll share with the other volunteers and see who else might be interested. I am for sure interested. Thank you.
Written June 24, 2015
Kathleen, I used this company and also did lots of research with other company and they did offer me a very competitive price. My tour only included breakfasts. In Lhasa we had several choices for lunches and dinner between 10RMB and 200 RMB.

Thank you for your quick response to my question regarding the price of the 4 day Lhasa City Highlights tour. I'm volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, and will be building in Pokhara, Nepal. The build will end on Nov. 8, 2015. I'd like to fly to Lhasa on that day, but haven't made my flight arrangements yet. As of now, it's just me travelling, but I'm hoping to get the interest of some of my fellow volunteers within the next few weeks. So as of now, I would want the price for a single room. Please indicate if meals and hotel are included in the price quote that you send me. Thank you.
Written June 23, 2015
Hello it is appreciated that you are volunteering the building for Nepal after the earthquake. For the tour of Tibet, we would love to help you with special offer, price range is around 350$ per person only on double occupancy, and wish you can have around 4-8 people, the price includes tickets, permits, 4 star hotel, tour guide, car. However as you enter Tibet from Nepal, the Tibet group visa cost is from 105 to 195$ p p, depends on your nationality.
Written June 23, 2015
Hello - I'm interested in your 4 day "Lhasa City Highlights" tour, but don't see the price on your site. When quoting your price, please indicate if it includes meals and hotel along with the tour. Is there a discount for a group? Will you take care of visa arrangements? Thank you.

Unfortunately for us, it appears, we have already booked our visits to China and Tibet with Viking Cruises. Viking take care of my husband's entry permit for Tibet (he's American) but they cannot or will not give me (a British national who has lived for over 40 years in the U.S. and has a Green Card) any advice/assistance as to my getting my own entry permit. The Chinese consulate and the British consulate say they know nothing about this, so what can I do to get my entry permit?
I would appreciate any assistance you can offer. By the way, I will be in the U.K. between May 11 and 19 so if I have to do anything there I should be able to do so.
Thanks!
Written April 8, 2015
Good morning from Tibet! My name is tony and wish I can answer you well with the correct information. I will reply to you also on TA platform where you post the question regarding to this.
Well be sure that both you and your husband have legal China visas for Entering China firstly. When you are in UK (or in USA) please apply a Visa without mention any words on Tibet or Tibet vacation. For Tibet travel permits, it is fairly easy when our agency get your passports photo copies and China visa photo copies. It takes normally 3-5 working days time for us to get permits ready and normally we prepare to apply permits 1 month in advance according to the rules. So permits can be well arranged at least 10 days before your arrival date in Tibet.
Regarding to how to deliver the permits to you in hand, if you do not have a hotel stay in China before flying to Lhasa. we can send the permits to airport by our delivery person. If you take the Yangtse cruise, am I right that you will arrive in Chongqing by morning cruise and thus you catch the afternoon or evening flight from Chongqing to Lhasa? Tibet Ctrip Travel Service TCTS has partner in Chongqing and we can send permits to you 2 hours before you checking flight to Lhasa (we can specify it later), if you fly from other city such as Chengdu, Xi’an or Beijing, we can do the same way. Well this is urgent permit delivery, our travelers normally had one or few nights before flying to Lhasa in China, so permits delivery is fairly easy!
So please ask Viking about that and I think Viking can handle the permits and permits delivery well in a professional and reliable way.
Guess I have answered your concerns, any questions or assistance needed, please feel to write to us.
Regards
Tony
