Tony goes above and beyond what you would normally expect from a tour agency. I know he has to be busy helping other clients, but I was amazed at how quickly he responded to my email inquiries. Most impressive was he had his brother-in-law personally deliver the TTP to my hotel the morning I left for Lhasa. My tour guide, Dolma, was very knowledgeable and gave me an excellent day tour of the sights in Lhasa. I found it an easy decision to choose him over other agencies I obtained quotes from. I would highly recommend Tibet Ctrip.

I was also in a group that was touring when the earthquake hit. Obviously, our plans to go to EBC and Nepal were scrapped, but Tony put together an alternate plan that was agreeable to everyone. In addition, one of our group had to be evacuated due to extreme altitude sickness. Tony helped get us back to civilization (an 8 hour journey), get him to a hospital and on a plane to Chengdu in the morning, at no additional cost, I would add. Later in the trip when we us got stopped at a police checkpoint, Tony drove in a taxi for several hours to deliver our passports.

There were a lot of unexpected issues on our trip, but Tony and his team were on top of it. In fact, I have to admit, we were probably a difficult group to work with. I can only imagine what could have happened if we had gone through a different agency that was only concerned with the fact that we paid our money. I'd also like to say that we initially were looking at a few different agencies, but decided to go with Ctrip because Tony was the only guy that actually called us back and made us feel at ease about booking with him.

Tibet is an amazing place that you have to see. Regardless of the issues, I think the trip was a total success. If (when) there are problems, you want a guy like Tony that will help you sort everything out. Totally recommend.

Dear guest, Thank you so much for your evaluation on Tibet Ctrip Travel Service-TCTS and we will keep trying our best to assure every of our customers happy travelling in Tibet. It is not easy to travel in Tibet for many travelers for sure due to permits frustration situation, local infrastructure standard, harsh weather, and high altitude, etc. However as based in Lhasa, it will be easier for us to handle things in the right way for all guests. Thanks again and any assistance from Lhasa, lets stay in touch! Best regards tony

A picky traveller that I am, after careful comparison, chose Tibet Ctrip Travel Service, Lhasa for our Tibet trip last year. I did proper due diligence process which included talking to his past clients and review of his credentials.

Though the correspondence had been going on for about four months, exact dates of the trip were finalized only in early August for a trip commencing around September 1. Tony promptly started preparations and put everything in place well in time for us to take the flight to Lhasa.

Ours was a private trip just for me and my spouse. We went far out west Tibet. Both of us are very demanding and discerning customers. But Tony's arrangements, right from our pick up at Lhasa airport till our return flight, were superb and left little room for dissatisfaction or complaint.

Tony had to be away from Lhasa when we landed but his wife, and his colleague, Sonam, met us at the hotel, brought fruits for us and briefed us on the trip. The Tibetan Guide and Tibetan Driver provided were very good, helpful, courteous, friendly and well-informed. They helped us with errands and took care of our comfort throughout.

I highly recommend Tony for any Tibet tour.

We are once again in touch with Tony for our next trip later this year. With the experience and knowledge from our last trip, we are now even better equipped to plan.

Tony's superstar guide, Galek, was the best ever. Although we weren't allowed to go to base camp due to the quake, we had the best time possible. Tibet is a magical place and I highly recommend a trip there. Request Galek for your guide because he is a local and really knows his stuff and how to explain everything you see. Seriously, don't miss it!!!!

For us Tibet C trip service's was the only choice for planning our week long tour of Lhasa and Tibet, their pricing was very competitive and could only be matched by their sincerity and passion in giving us the most authentic and diverse traveling experience. The company is a trustworthy group of business and travel professionals and they make serving you the their passion. They not only made the process of getting the numerous permits needed to travel approved, but they also make the registration experience very clear and easy to follow. Furthermore with this company, you not only get a great travel package, but you also get a very authentic and diverse one, from stretching your legs through Lhasa's central Bazaar market to travelling to the country side to become enlightened by the view of Tibet's most oldest Buddhist temples. In addition they go above and beyond in organizing suitable lodging and transportation for you, don't worry you will have access to a toilet, washer and dryer. Traveling to Tibet on your own can be very grueling experience, make its simple, safe and memorable by allowing Tibet Ctrip travel services to serve you.

Booked a week long trip to tibet through Tony at tibetctrip with 13 friends. Had a wonderful time - managed to get us to see all the main attractions in Tibet whilst also remaining flexible enough for us to change some of the plans at the last minute. Amazing scenery, temples, monasteries, people and local guide!
This is also a particularly difficult time to visit Tibet due to the weather and Chinese government restrictions - this was all expertly dealt with by Tony and his coworkers.

I had the great pleasure of escorting my then-84 year old mother overseas on a trips of a lifetime, 07JUN-29JUL2014 which took us to 10 or 12 countries (depending upon how you calculate their status), with the literal highlight being that of Tibet Ctrip Travel Service, run by Tony. He/family resides in Lhasa and provide bona fide specialists (SONAM) who KNOW the area and can give in-depth commentary.history of this critical part of our World. I had planned an extended tour that involved transit to Nyalam-Kodari border crossing, with the goal of a return flight from KTM to IST to IAH/home. Our arrival in Lhasa, at the altitude, resulted in being afflicted by Acute Mountain Syndrome (AMS); I acclimated but my mother did not. Tony/Tibet Ctrip took great care of us, particularly my mother. He saw to it that she had oxygen readily available and worked to ensure an easy departure to the lower altitude of KTM, even though it meant curtailing our entire Tibet tour plan.
Visiting China is a bit challenging; not only must you have a valid passport, but you must also obtain a VISA to formally enter the country (flying into/through HKG does not count). Then, if you want to go into the special autonomous territory of Tibet, you must obtain additional documentation, which is 4 separate stamps/endorsements for travel there.
My mother & I were well on our way from Beijing (transferring trains at Xi'an & Xining) when in Xining we were not permitted to re-board. Unfortunately, we had only THREE of the required FOUR, so we ended up spending a few unexpected days in that remarkable city while sorting it out with Tony. Ultimately, he sent an agent to meet us in Xining, who took us to Caojiabao Airport (XNN) and gave us maximum assistance.
Flying into Gonggar Airport (LXA) was easy, though the AMS meant I finally was able to get my mother outside in a wheelchair, where SONAM provided the 2-3 hours of transport into old-town Lhasa. Tony had arranged a superb hotel for us, which had a dynamic rooftop view of the Portala Palace/Lhasa.
Despite our not being able to complete the previously designated tour, the short amount of time we had in that fabulous community was made ever so much easier with Tony/Tibet Ctrip. This is a FIVE-STAR business, but you won't pay 5-star prices. Highly recommended--I'll use them again when I return (hopefully by bicycle)!

I've just lost my beatitude to our trip with tony and Tibet Ctrip. Lost to the ether.
If you want to go to Tibet just ask tony. He organised everything; except for the China visa and the flights to China.
These people are worth every penny. A real proper well planned and executed trip. Our guide Basang and driver Bianjue were Tibetan and very fantastic. What a place. Tony also organised our connections and hotels for our follow on trip to dunhuang from Lhasa by train. Great experience.
It's all like wow. I'm still affected by the experience. The yogurt festival, the pilgrims. The place was heaving with people from all over Tibet, with all there different garbs and customs. In the temples people were in mass celebrant mode and we were there in the middle of it.
