I had a special request for my travel. That was hiking at the Tiger Leaping Gorge and climbing to the summit of Haba mountain. My plan was to start on 1st of October and to return to Shanghai on 7th. Everything was exactly arranged how I wanted it. Moreover all tour guides and everybody involved were extremely friendly and travel arrangements were to the point and worked out perfectly. This was a trip of a life time. My very special thanks to my agent Daria for the very professional advise and making the arrangements, Kate for the arrangements in Lijiang and of course to my tour guide Pema with whom it was a pleasure to be with.

We decided to go with Asia Odyssey Travel for the excellent service and follow up we received from Amy!! Amy was reachable every day of the week no matter the time and was willing to answer any question we had. Asia Odyssey also had safe payment method which is a very important thing when you are booking and paying in advance. You can definitely trust them. With regards to the trip, we booked a private tour to cater our needs. I was worried bringing 2 young kids (10 and 9) but they were just fine! Your body needs 2-3 to get used to the high altitude, you will feel fatigued and sometimes dizzy but it’s totally bearable and after the adjustment period you will be just fine. Totally recommend booking with Asia Odyssey, ask the team to assign you Amy as she will be your partner making sure you have everything you need!

I searched a lot of tour agencies via internet and decided Asia Odyssey because of good reviews and schedule. My agent, Amy, was perfectly helpful and kind for everythihng I needed to prepare the tour. She helped me receive the permit and took care of me until I arrived at Lhasa. I also was very satisfied everything in Tibet including program, schedule, and other supporters including driver and guides. Especially, my guides, Tashi and Gesang, were super-knowledgeable and tried to deliver all experiences I could have during the tour. I strongly recommend this program and want to visit Tibet again as soon as possible. I miss all I experienced.

I wanted to visit Tibet for a very long time. Since I live in abroad, this wish was like The Everest Mountain, unreachable. After we contacted Ms. Kate, (高小乐), everything became so easy. Kate was very knowlegeable about Tibet, and very patient with our questions. We have been with her for about a year to prepare for the trip. She has provided excellent services. Due to the considerable preparation, the trip went better that I expected. This was the most memorable trip I ever had thusfar. Thanks Kate!
