Basanta travel organized a trip for a group of 20 people (adults & kids) to go to Bandipur and Pokhara. Every detail was covered. Siddik was my main contact person and we was super patient with the various requests from the group. Drivers were very good and safe. Accommodation in Bandipur (Old Inn) and Pokhara (fishtail lodge) were great and the kids loved it too. Hikes were organized that accommodated the various skills level of the group. On the last day our flight was delayed from Pokhara back to Kathmandu and Siddik was peronally following up and giving me updates. i can highly recommend Basanta Adventure as they also focus on eco tourism. My wife had her birhday in Kathmandu and she collected funds from people for a charity in Nepal. Basanta gave us a good contact to donate the money to. This company edcuates children in the schools to keep Nepal clean and they clean up trecks to make them rubbish free.

We couldn’t speak more highly of Basanta Adventures - they (and Siddik in particular) arranged the perfect 2 week honeymoon to Nepal for us, with a mixture of culture, trekking, safari and wonderful relaxation. Planning the trip over emails and WhatsApp with Siddik was easy and fun, and he gave us really helpful advice on planning an itinerary that both covered everything we wanted it to, without feeling like we were rushing around. The rooms booked for us in all our accommodation (KGH, Old Inn Bandipur, Pavilions, Tiger Tops Karnali and Dwarika’s Dhulikhel) were all enormous and beautiful. Siddik was always checking in with us throughout the trip, and seemed to personally care that we had a good time. We saw him lots of times throughout our trip as he met us off our connecting flights, which was so kind and a really lovely touch. The Mardi Himal trek that Siddik arranged for us, with fantastic guide Netra and unstoppable porter Bouda was one of the best things we’ve ever done. All in all, a 5 star experience!! Thank you Basanta, we hope so much to be back one day!

We had the most incredible trip organised by Basanta Adventures. We were recommended to use them by a friend in the UK and they could not have planned a more wonderful trip. Siddik looked after us so well throughout our trip, checking in every now and again to make sure everything was running smoothly. We visited Nepal the last two weeks of September and were a little unlucky with the weather but that did not affect how much we loved every moment. We did the Mardi Himal Trek - a gateway Trek is how we described it - it is very manageable and the perfect length if you don't have too much time to play with. We met lovely people and cannot wait to return.

The organisation planned for us the tour in Kathmandu. But the director did also something very appreciated: he solved all problems of the group included accompaining and stay in hospital with me. Everything was well organised and he made efforts to arrange the different arrivals and departures of the member of our group.

A very experienced world-traveler friend had recommended Basant of Basanta Adventure Treks to us. We were not disappointed. While we did not have much time in Nepal, our experience in Kathmandu with this company was excellent. (Unfortunately, we can't say that about a different tour company we did use for our trek out of Pokhara). Our guide Mitra spoke good English, was very informed and informative. They were flexible and tailored to our schedule. While we very much enjoyed Bhaktapur and Boudhanath, Pashupatina was unexpectedly the most important and eye-opening part of the tour. Highly recommend using Basanta Adventure Treks for any part of a Nepal visit.

Terrific customized Hiking to Everest Base Camp as well as time with Buddhist ascetics. Experience was seamless from planning- especially flexibility, and executing. Attentive to our specific needs within the group. Had created exceptional moments at Buddhist Monasteries that emphasized spirituality of the region. Price is very reasonable even though so customized. Entire team of support staff engaged well and became good company!

I have just returned from a 12-day Trek in Nepal arranged by Basanta Adventure. I am a seasoned traveller and I can honestly say that this trek was a unique and awesome experience. Nothing that I have ever seen compares with the majestic scenery of the Mt Everest region.
Basanta Adventure suggested an ideal itinerary for our group, made all the arrangements in Nepal and provided guides and porters. Everything went exactly as planned, from the helpful and informative pre-Trek briefing in Kathmandu to the celebration dinner at the end of the Trek. We never had any reason to complain. Many travel companies are efficient but Basanta Adventure stands out for being particularly responsive, friendly and helpful. I would be remiss if I did not mention the extraordinary Sherpa guide provided by Basanta Adventure. His experience as a guide, knowledge of the area and concern with our well being at high altitude made our Trek all the more memorable.

Basanta Adventure is who you should contact when visiting Nepal (and Tibet)!
We trekked from Lukla to Everest Base Camp with the best in the business, Gyaltsen Sherpa, a master guide. Working alongside Basant to make this the best trip we've ever had, Gyaltsen made sure we were always healthy, never pushed us beyond our limit, and knew EVERYONE anywhere we went. Fluent in english and Nepali, Gyaltsen was able to easily communicate with us, as well as his assistant guide and porter. With flawless navigation skills, we always got from point A to point B with no hiccups, and always ahead of the pack (many groups of trekkers follow often follow similar itineraries).
After coming back from the Himalayas, Basant and his team continued to impress us by setting up our flight to Pokhara and making sure we got there and came back in one piece. His colleague, Siddik, was also of great help to us, especially at sensitive times such as departing from the airport in Kathmandu to Lukla or Pokhara, making sure we always got on a flight as fast as possible.
Bonus for photographers - I never felt rushed when pausing to take a photo. Our guide or assistant guide always waited for me to catch back up with the rest of the group. This was a great feeling of safety, especially considering all the beautiful landscapes there were to capture!
Thanks again to Basant, Siddik, Gyaltsen and the rest of the crew for showing us how great Nepal is!

Besanta organised two treks for us when we were in Nepal December/ January. Mountain biking and Everest BC trek. Bothe went so smoothly thanks to the professional guides. The benefits of Besanta Adventure is personal service, excellent English skills, and guieds that have experience, are friendly and go the extra mile. I highly recommend this company and we are already checking out other trips we can do with them, maybe also in some of the neighbouring countries.

Basanta Adventures organised a six week expedition to Nepal in 2014 and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The whole team were quite possibly the kindest people I have ever met and made us all feel extremely welcome. It was two years ago now and I still frequently think about the amazing people I met. I am particularly thankful for how considerate they were whilst I struggled through the trek to Annapurna Base Camp. It was a challenge that I often felt I could not complete, but with the care and support from Basanta Adventures I was able to make myself proud. If I was ever fortunate enough to return to Nepal, I would not think to go to anyone else other than Basanta Adventures. Thank you for helping me make some unforgettable memories!
