Nice day trip

Can spend most, if not all, of your day here. There is something for everyone. Especially enjoy the Japanese gardens.

The lake of Xuanwu locates at the city center of NKG, where surrounded by skyscrapers, shopping malls, railways, and entertainments. Ming Dynasty City Wall was built 600 years ago, while tall buildings just outside of the wall and the lake, making you to cross from the ancient to 2016.....

It was cold on the winter's day that we visited but we were kept warm with a enjoyable walk around this interesting lake area. So many different sights and sounds, with misty tree's, rose gardens, monuments and people dancing in the park.

We loved this lake. We went in the morning before it got too hot and even walked around at sunset to see the beauty of the lake with the sun setting. We love the giant lily pads and the stone bridges. We walked for hours and there still was too much of it that we didn't get to explore. Don't... More

Located in the heart of Nanjing its a must for any visitor who needs to explore....I walked around the island and made it to the beautiful wall which I also walked which gave extra views of the city.

It's a pretty nice lake but this country is full of them. Good to visit if you're looking to kill some time, but you get a better view of the lake from the top of mingchengqiang

Pales by comparison to West Lake. Nevertheless it is interesting if you have time to spare. If not then take a internal eco cart which gives you a good overview of the 5 districts of the lake.

It is a part of a great park. You go on the coast and through the bridges - at least one hour. You start or finish near one of the gates of the great wall

Beautiful place for a evening walk. Not so much else to do around this part of town, but if you have a bit of free time and a good book to read then it's worth coming here.
