If you are interested to visit an authentic site, hurry up, it worth to see. They are going to develop a tourist site, it will be safer and easier to walk throughout but, in my opinion will loose charm. I personally love it, despite it was hot with about 60% humidity in August. My boys had a lot of fun!

Under Construction
Aug 2018 • Family
This looks like it might be a interesting place to try out but unfortunately when I went it was under construction. I am not sure when it will be finished. I would recommend having someone who speaks Chinese call and check it will be open to the public.

On Qi Huai River
Nov 2017 • Couples
Would definitely recommend going! The best part was riding bikes along the river and then just quickly stopping here. Wouldnt set aside too much time to go.

Stone, stones everywhere! Nov 2012
May 2016 • Solo
Shi Tou City is certainly one of the most ancient and worthy place to visit! Unlike your expectation, there aren't as many stray stones, however, there are mostly stones that were built together like a wall or a monument! It's certainly very hard to break!

A wonderful spring time stroll
Apr 2017 • Friends
We were lucky enough to have stunning weather for our trip to this park. Accidentally entered a different park but managed to find our way. The wall is impressively large and there are plenty of beautiful flowering trees around. Makes it a very pleasant place to go for a spring stroll.

Amazing site

There are a lot of strange stones. Next to the park is Qinhuai River. It is very beautiful in summer.

Sun Quan's Stone City!
Apr 2016 • Solo
If you are interested in Chinese history and the Three Kingdoms period, this is a must visit attraction. Stone City was built by Sun Quan, Emperor of the state of Wu, which was one of the three powerful states during that time. Zhuge Liang, Liubei's famous adviser, even visited this location, which is pretty awesome.

If you are not so interested in the Three Kingdoms period, visit if you have time. Probably better to check out the Nanjing Ming City Wall first.

As another reviewer said, Stone City is about a 10 minute walk from the Hanzhongmen subway station. If you feel like doing some light hiking/exploring at Stone City, there are many random paths throughout the park. There is even a path that will take you over the highway to Qingliangshan Park.

Worth visiting
Nov 2015 • Solo
This site locates about 10 minutes' walking distance from the metro station of Hanzhongmen, it's said to be built in 2000 years ago, and is very important in history because it was used as a defence to prevent enemies invading from Qinhuai River. Just one or two hours to visit it, you can walk on the ancient city wall for free.

Worth a visit if you have spare time
Nov 2012 • Friends
This park is free to get in, and is worth a couple of hours if you have time to spare. I wouldn't go there expecting it to change my life.

There is a small military section, with a couple of MiGs, some field guns, an ICBM & some sort of gun boat. The Wall itself is nice to see, and all in all, it's a pleasant way to spend an hour or so.
