Top ways to experience Lee Tung Avenue and nearby attractions

The area
Neighborhood: Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.

Went for a short walk to Lee Tung Avenue during Mid Autumn Festival. Very pretty with all the lanterns. Only took about 10 minutes to walk it. Worth it for some lovely pics but that's all, the shops are pretty much the same as everywhere else.

Lee Tung Avenue - at Wan Chai MTR Station Exit A3 or Exit D or Can take a Tram get off either southorn playground tram stop or Wanchai market station.
Lee Tung Avenue such a beautiful decor, many restaurants to eat, cafes, and shops for shopping but at a higher budget though. Its a small area but kinda cute’ I could say’ with all the gorgeous decorations lanterns. And theres also plenty of bench to sit and relax.

...within the sleazy madness of Wan Chai, more like a sanitised spot in Singapore but it has an undeniable appeal nonetheless. Leading up to and during Chinese New Year it’s undeniably beautiful and has some nice places to eat as well. Just don’t expect the rest of the neighbourhood to be anything like this...

I went to there during CNY of Pig on day and night, so beautiful. The area had been renovated to a modern style to attract the visitors.

Very convenience to take MTR and get off from Wanchai station. Plenty of restaurants and pubs, as well as a shopping mall at the basement.

The Lee Tung Avenue has put out their 2018 Christmas decorations which are pretty good this year.

You will find a tree lined pedestrian avenue with Christmas trees, floating angels and other seasonal decor. There is even a foam blowing machine creating snow scene that is really neat. It is a nice scene, particularly at night when the floating angels are lit up and are on full display.

Overall, pretty good job by the Lee Tung Avenue team with the 2018 Xmas decorations.

Lee Tung Avenue is a nice shopping area in the heart of Hong Kong Island near to the mid-level escalator. It's an area with charm and character as various Chinese ornaments and statues dot the area. This neighborhood offers a nice afternoon activity for both couples and families to explore. The shops while interesting didn't offer us much in terms of pertinent or practical things to purchase. However, we enjoyed an hour or so exploring this area.

I find this area to be really great - amont most - I was absolutely delighted when I found my Lucky Cat Shop (used to be at the Peak Galleria) in the basement!!!
Short stroll from my hotel - great atmosphere with Chinese balloons - sunny day - loved it!

This place gives you the sense of Christmas and NY spirit. Good enough to spend some time in the evening. There are some restaurants and shops at this street.

One of the must Instagrammable streets in HK featuring classy eateries and shops. This was formerly called “Wedding Street” and housed the printers and shops for wedding invitations before they were demolished to make way for this pricy residential block. Best time to visit is Mid autumn Festival or Chinese New Year when the whole street is adorned with lanterns. There is usually some special activity or promotion every weekend so quite a tourist attraction. Take exit D from Wanchai MTR which leads you directly to this street.
