Excellent professional guide - highly recommend for both rock climbing and canyoning trips having done both. Gordon provided all the equipment and excellent instruction and took us to a variety of climbs to meet our differing standards. Was a fantastic day out and well worth doing!

We had an amazing day out will several friends on the Ping Nam canyon tour. Most of us were first timers so it was great that Gordon and Fay spent lots of effort going over the key safety aspects….and then repeating them when we forgot right after.
From the first abseil through a waterfall to the high jumps from rock ledges into idyllic lagoons the experience was first class and whilst there were plenty of moments to get your pulse racing, there were always options for those to take different paths depending on your comfort level with each activity . Overall we had a fantastic day out and I couldn’t recommend HKRCA highly enough for those looking for an outdoor adventure in Hong Kong.
Very special thanks to Gordon for finding our friend’s lost wedding band after diving for 20 mins in one of the lagoons!

I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an outdoor social activity that is exhilarating and memorable. The view is breathtaking and really not to miss on a visit to HK.
Gordon was very professional, safety-oriented and very patient and encouraging. He was so experienced that he thought of every detail ahead of time so we could just focus on the climb and experience.
We will be return customers for sure. 5/5!

It was a great day out on a weekend. If you want to get out of the busy buzz of HK city life, this is a good way to discover the hidden gems of Hong Kong. Nothing much to prepare really, just bring as what they tell you to bring but for me, just bring with you extra dry clothes (which you will leave in their van), all you have to have with you during the adventure is food (sandwiches would do coz its packed light) and your water or gatorade. They will provide you with dry bags and shoes, so no need to bring a lot of stuff.
Getting there coming from Fanling MTR station, I suggest you just take a cab to bring you straight to meet up site, rather than taking the mini-bus because it will require a 15-20 minute walk. Make sure to do all your business before the canyoneering because there is no toilet around the are. However, in case of emergency, there is a public toilet about 10-min walk from the meeting site.
Ada and her team, Lau, Carrie and Joey (with special assistance from Ada’s dog Pok Kai) did a wonderful job in making sure that we are safe under their care and made sure to get a wonderful experience. They took charge of the photos and videos which they will airdrop to you at the end of the trip.
Good value for money for a day of adventure!

Ada and Twinkle took us to a beatiful part of HK and lead us a through a brilliant 6 hour trip of hiking, swimming, abseiling, sliding and jumping. They were brilliant instructors, very patient and fun people. One of the best adventure day trips I have ever had and the children, aged from 8 to 12 had an amazing time.

My husband and I had such a great time rock climbing at Cape Collinson with Gordon and Ada. They were super accommodating when it rained at our scheduled time and were able to postpone us to the next day. They took AMAZING photos of us. Gordon is a great teacher, as we are not super experienced with rock climbing. Ada is such a sweetheart and was so supportive with each climb. The views of Cape Collinson are unreal. I would do this rock climbing trip all the time if I lived in Hong Kong. I highly recommend booking any of the HKRCA excursions with Gordon and Ada. Thank you both again for pushing us to do things we didn’t think we’re possible!

I had the pleasure of meeting Gordon Hon when I travelled solo to Hong Kong back in 2018. Being a massive rock climbing fan back home (Australia), I wanted to sample some of the local climbing that Hong Kong had to offer in the few days that I had there.
With limited baggage space, I had only packed my harness and climbing shoes. Without more equipment, crag knowledge and a trusted belay partner, I knew that I would need the assistance of a local guide.
Gordon Hon took me to Tung Lung Chau island and we spent the day doing some lead climbing. He was quickly able to assess my skill level and recommended some suitable routes for me to try. He even taught me new safety techniques on route cleaning.
Overall, I had such a great experience. Gordon is such a professional and all-round nice guy. I would highly recommend him if you're looking for a guide for outdoor activities in Hong Kong.

During the travel ban it’s difficult to find new activities I’m HK that we haven’t already tried. We tried the Canyoning experience in Nam Ping and I couldn’t recommend this any more. Was an adrenaline filled day of abseiling, jumping and sliding down waterfalls into rock pools. Team were brilliant and very knowledgable and even helped us document the day on camera. Definitely one to try out

A big salute to Gordon and Ada for their effort and professionalism in making this an adventurous experience for us. We did zip line and abseiling in Tung Lung Island with 2 kids. They were professional in keeping our children safe but at the same time making sure they experience the fun of such adventurous activities. Would recommend anyone who wishes to do abseil under safe and professional guidance. We will certainly book for our next adventure soon.

Hi! I was wondering if there are any spots open for tomorrow (Wednesday) or the next day, and how much it would cost for a single person! I don't mind joining a group or anything, but would love to do some climbing, it looks like a lot of fun^^ Thank you!!

Hi Zach,
Thank you very much for your enquiry. As 3 June is a Friday and there is no ferry to Tung Lung Island during the weekday, I would recommend you to join the rock climbing tour to Shek O alternatively. Shek O is located in the South-Eastern part of Hong Kong Island with a breath-taking view.
In regard to the cost for our one day tour, I would be grateful if you can let me know the total number of participant. If there are just 2 of you, it will be HKD$1080 each.
Should you have further queries, please do not hesitate to let us know.
We can also be reached via whatsapp +852 90855597.
Thanks and regards,
Crystal
