These are the last 4 gas lamps in Hong Kong but sadly 3 are damaged/gone, half of the stairs renovating and the last gas lamp not working. Most likely will be back after renovation but no idea when.

Made a special effort to visit these colonial gas lamps only to discover they were destroyed by the tropical storm. One can see how this site is such a picturesque spot with all the tropical plants amongst the concrete jungle Maybe next time

3 of 4 lamps was destroyed by tropical storm "mangkhut" on 16/9/2018 , as well as the stone steps and hand pieces . Should at least take 2 months to recover.

There are just some lamps on a staircase. You would never know what it was if you didn't read about it, and it's not worth going out of your way to see it. It's a selfie backdrop only.

This is a picturesque spot. It was a nice street to wander in the midst of the bustling area that is Central.

Not sure why this is listed here, it’s a set of steps like any other. On a quite if dirty street. Nothing to see here.

I think that you can find a little bit of peace in Central from here. There are restaurants along side in this street. At least you don't get push around by others from the pavement when you walk around here.

I don’t follow TVB movies. But I have been told, this very steps on Duddle Street are the backdrop for countless TVB dramas and Hong Kong movies specifically when filming very over-dramatic romantic scene or break-up scene. Supposedly, the actress would stooped on the steps...More
