Visited one weekday in the evening as recommended by a friend, it was quiet, but was surprised how big the place was with chinese ornaments & furniture dotted around, there was alot of empty reclining brown massage chairs lined up in an open room, I expect the place gets busy during the weekends. I chose the 65min body massage, so was led to a small room at the back. The chinese massage was average, however I will visit again to try another masseure.

Whilst in Hong Kong seek this place out for a true foot indulgence. Spent time there yesterday getting 65 mins foot reflexology and it was very good at a reasonable price. I went from yesterday sore legs and poor circulation to today feeling like I was floating with little to no stiffness. Thank you for a great job.

I can't give this place a 4 or 5 star because I think that would be misleading. However, this place is not bad to make a stop (Or 2 or 3 at) during your visit! Don't expect anything fancy, and it's almost dingy but not quite at the same time. You will get a wonderful massage though wether it's just a foot massage or the entire body. My lady was great! While she gave me the foot massage, a man came through removing calluses...why not??? He was also great at what he did. Even though it was horrifying watching what the dead skin fly off my feet, I enjoyed having smooth feet. My advice is to go and just relax ;)

This was a very unpleasant experience. Me and my wife dropped in at Gao’s Caine Road for a foot massage, and they - for some reason - were unwilling to serve us, and rudely so. A couple that arrived after us was readily waved through, but we were first told to wait, and then that there was nothing available for us. (Was it a race issue, because I’m white? Certainly one did feel entirely unwelcome here. I will never go back - definitely not recommended.

The lady who runs this place hires illegal Chinese workers who doesn't speak a single word Chinese. At entry of her unit they do not explain the menu and later on the charge you for services that you did not ask for. The massage itself is not attentive, it's careless and customers are allowed to speak on their phones. Ultimately the most horrible part is the women running the place illegally. If in HK visit a real proper and legally runned massage business.

We really wanted massages during our time in Hong Kong but did not want to go to a Luxurious Day Spa at one of the 5 Star Hotels (not that we don't love these kind of massages at times, but we really wanted an authentic Chinese Massage experience!) We had done a private walking tour that day and asked our Guide to finish our tour by leading us to the place that she goes for massages. It was on the 15th Floor of a building near Central MTR Station which we would never have found on our own. The name suggests that they only do Foot Massage but this is definitely not the case. They have packages that you can choose from with Full Body Massage and a session of Reflexology. The massage therapists are all chinese and often conduct conversations while doing the massage (no Enya or relaxation music playing here!) but the massage is so intense and therapeutic that listening to them speak in their local tongue actually enhances the experience. Once the body massage is complete you are then taken to the lounge area that is full of leather recliners where they conduct the Reflexology. You are served a cup of delicious Rose Tea and given warm heat pads behind your back and around your neck and then wrapped in blankets! It is so nurturing and relaxing that my husband fell asleep and started snoring! The prices are so affordable that we went back 2 days later for another 90 minute session! We paid $140AUD ($1,000HKD) total for a 95 minute session for us both!!! Given that the wages are so low for the locals we also tipped each therapist $100HKD (which is approx $13AUD) and they were so excited and grateful! Definitely worth finding this place. You won't regret it.

The manager is a money grabbing fraud! He takes bookings even when therapists are not available just to get you in the door. He lies and cheats. Don’t go!

Having lived in China for a year, and had numerous foot massages, Gao's foot massage company is the worst I have ever had. We arrived at Gao's and were promptly given an appointment, we were looking forward to a relaxing massage, but it was far from that! Firstly the entire atmosphere for the massage was wrong. There was a big room, with as many massage chairs stuck close to each other as possible, probably being a Sunday, the place was packed with people. The masseurs were walking all over the place, serving tea and water to the customers, some customers were on their phones and were talking to each other. This probably gave a sense to the masseurs that they could do the same. Ours were talking to each other most of the time. Basically, it felt like I was having a foot massage in a fish market, even the soothing music they played was drowned out with the noise. The foot massage was okay, but nothing great, for the price they charge. No one offered us tea after the massage or even asked us how the massage was. We were very very disappointed. Highly recommend to save your hard earned money and do not visit this place!

I am a regular at Gao's massage. The service used to good. But it has come to and end since the new person started to manage the reception. I asked her when would the therapist I had before be available. Her attitude was so bad and repeatedly said loudly ' I told you already ...if you don't want whoever is available I can't help you...'

With Gao's price range , I would not expect a 5 star hotel service , but I don't think i deserved to be loudly spoken at when I was trying to find out more information.

Gao's used to be my go to for a foot massage. Cheap, located in central, and was decent service. Sadly good things come to an end and service has plummeted. The past two visits I have made a reservation only to wait 45 minutes for someone to give me a foot massage. When the foot massage is to last 50 minutes and you wait 45 minutes after your reservation for it to begin then something doesn't work. They either need to staff more people or know when to stop taking reservations. Either which way I would recommend Happy Foot as providing consistently good service or if you want to treat yourself to something special (albeit much more expensive) then try Ten Feet Tall.
