A must try!

During my time in Hong Kong, I was running out of activities to do, and heard a lot of hype about Freeing HK. I searched what this was, and it is basically an activity where you... read more

I had visited 14 room escapes in 5 countries before, and I left this place with very mixed feelings. Positives in the room (The Qin Necropolis): -Decoration -Sound & light effects -Story -Various problems (not only combination locks!) Place of improvement: -Cold customer service. They rushed with explaining the pre-details and after game only comments were like "Any questions? You... More

The first challenge was to find the place. The ground floor directory at the Pakpolee Commercial Centre does not advertise the escape room. We eventually discovered that the 4/F meant fourth floor. The building itself is a rabbits warren and FreeingHK is tucked down the end of one undulating corridor. The set up is fairly casual. The staff lead you... More

During my time in Hong Kong, I was running out of activities to do, and heard a lot of hype about Freeing HK. I searched what this was, and it is basically an activity where you crack codes with your friends, and find solutions to escape one room after another. The goal of the game is to finally leave all... I feel a little bad writing a review here because we actually did LostHK, not FreeingHK. Unfortunately LostHK isn't on Tripadvisor! But FreeingHK is very similar in concept. The idea is simple - you get blindfolded and led into a room. Once u take off your blindfold you realise you are locked in a themed room and have to figure... More

This place can be for a variety of people, there's many levels such as a vacation, holiday or a death one. It can be in English or Chinese and 1 clue is given you if you're confused. A very good group activity for the 45 minutes and they give you the solution at the end!

This attraction is advertised as having to use intelligence to escape from a room, however the clues were poorly designed, requiring more guesswork than logic. The room we played in Kwun Tong was sea-themed, one of the harder rooms, and was very cramped for seven people. The first clue required us to look through binoculars at a chart to differentiate... Real life room escape game! There are 7 locations (including Macau) and many themes to choose from. We went to the branch at Mongkok and played the murder case. It was a very thrilling and worthwhile experience whereby everyone has really enjoyed themselves! The game was quite well designed...collaboration and brainpower is needed to solve for multiple clues before we... More

Right smack in town located just between mong kok and yau ma tei MTR, the branch at pakpolee commercial centre was great! It was a pity that we didn't manage to visit the other branches as all the other branches featured different games. The space was very well planned, with almost 7 items to solve before we get our way... More

Room escape game real life version. We played the "cowboy". Get masked our eye before get in the room. No idea what to expect. The staff led us to the room, and simply say "start". Then we need to find our way out. The following hour is so intense. Confusing and fun. Their background created a mysterious atmosphere, which makes... More
