A building that can turn its back on the Hong Kong harbourview can certainly hold its own. Hiong Kong's prime international and local venue for cultural shows. Enjoy

This centre sits on where the old train station was with the clock tower remaining outside. The building can be seen from the peak and Hong Kong island however not visible from most of Kowloon. It has several halls and it appeared it hosts operas, musicals, ballet and dance. Several bookshops, cafes in the foyer however for a building that... More

The Grand theatre is good for HK CC. Sad to say the famous musicals won't be shown there anymore. I have no reason why. Anyway, there are still a lot of different performance. It is very easy to access.

Known for not having any windows facing the magnificent harbour view, the Cultural Centre is where we all go for the Ballet, opera, concerts and plays. An excellent venue very accessible on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront.

The architecture here is unusual. There was plenty of stuff going on when we went including a very unusual metronome display which was fun to see. There are lots of eateries here too. We would go back.

Saw my first Chinese Opera last week. The show had big screens on both sides of the stage with subtitles in english and in chinese for people to read during the show. The Facility features many forms of entertainment inside and outside on the plaza facing the harbor. It also has a nice cafe if you're looking for a place... More

The basic design is one that is very much in favor these days - a wrap around seating plan. It is used in cities as the San Francisco Davies Symphony Hall, Toronto's Roy Thomson Hall, Paris' new hall for the Philharmonie, etc. The sound will vary according to the height of the ceiling as well as the sound baffling. Hong... More

We go often to concerts at the Cultural Centre and can highly recommend it as a concert venue. The seats are comfortable and visibility and acoustics are good wherever you decide to sit so no need to go for the really high priced tickets. The HK Phil are good and the programme is varied. The location is amazing right on... More

We chose to go to a concert at the last minute. We were not disappointed. Good acoustics. If you don't like heights (like my husband) pay a bit more to be lower down! I don't like to be too near the stage as you get a better balance of sound further away. We would go again.
