Manager Jason make you feel at home. U need to take drinks at the counter and carry them by yourself to the table but it worth going just for the stunning harbour & TST view. It is an easy place to go to filled with casual people not too fancy to go to more expensive places like Isola Bar but... More

I used to go allways to this place when I visit Hong Kong before come back to Spain and take ariport express. The environment is perfect with a DJ in the terrace with nice music, the food is really good I recomend Quesadillas. There are a lot of people afterwork in the place. And alos it is one of the... I went in on a Tuesday evening for happy hour and it was warm outside so I got a beer from the bar outside and went to the bar inside. I put my jacket on the second bar stool as I was expecting someone , and the waitress removed it and seated someone right next to me, the restaurant was... More

We ate here the other night after a long day spent hiking. The service was acceptable and slightly attentive. It is definitely a place to meet up and have drinks and many groups of people were doing this, as well as tables like us having dinner. The food arrived and we weren't blown away by the quality or the quantity,... More

Red Bar is a really good meet up point. The views are great and its inexpensive in Hong Kong terms . There is complimentary wifi avaliable but its super sketchy . The bar staff know the trade well and are proficiant in serving quality at speed. Its a great starting point for an after work sharpener.

Lunch with my wife we had forgotten to bring our own drinks. Purchased two GLASSES of Diet Coke (not even a full can in each glass) - total cost HKD$80 (USD$10.31) INSANE! NEVER AGAIN! RED that is daylight robbery!

So yes this place does have an amazing view IF it is not raining, but other than the outside seating area there is not much to it. You can get better drinks and better atmosphere somewhere else. Just not my type of place.

I came here with a friend at the start of a night out. There are decent views out over Hong Kong harbour, but the bar somehow lacks soul. It's fine as a place to meet and to have the first drink at, but I probably wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer.

If you want a place to meet people before a night out for a BYOB pregame, it's unbeatable with a good view and a relaxed atmosphere. Other than that, however, it's not much. If you want a really good view of the skyline there are better rooftop bars, but it's hard to find space for a large group of people... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
