As always, my visit to hk disneyland was magical. From the exciting rides, character interactions to the live 'follow your dreams' 15th anniversary show, it never failed to entertain me throughout the day. Absolutely loved how nice and sweet the cast members were and how they always tried to make every guest's experience as magical as possible. However, would definitely recommend guests to bring a hand-held fan or some sort of cooling devices there as (especially in the summer) the sun is scorching hot. Besides that, downloading the hk disneyland official app would be a great help for guests to check the waiting time of each ride before deciding to head down to a particular ride. As an annual disney pass holder, I'm definitely looking forward to visit hk disneyland again.

This is my third time stay at this hotel, room is nice as usual, double double bed, spacious, fit for family travel. Just the restaurant we used to patroned are fully booked, another one only serve dinner set in the evening, the server forgot to serve bread at the beginning of our dinner until we asked, the taste and temperature of the dinner set is far below expectation. I will not consider to patron the restaurant again in future.

HK is a great place for everyone and especially for the younger ones. What better place to indulge the fantasies of children than Disneyland? Disneyland is located in Lantau Island. One has to get down at the Sunny Bay MTR on the Tung Chung Line and then take the train to Disneyland Resort Station. The Park has seven themed areas for kids to enjoy.
One can also stay at the Disney Explorers Lodge or the other hotels located in the Park.
The place is charming, full of various gentle rides for young children and Disney themed parks. The must do is the Disney Parade in the evening time which lasts for about 35 minutes and will be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. Please remember that the place is extremely crowded on almost all days and especially so on weekends. It is advisable to book your tickets beforehand on the website. Also, please check the weather before you go. It can rain a lot, especially during July-August. Its better to carry your own raincoats since the shops inside sell very expensive plastic covers which appear to be like raincoats. The cost really pinches.

Not a magical Disney as I expected

with the effect of COVID, many activities were suspended as expected, but it is not an excuse for poor services.

If the park really concern about the pandemic, it should not allow that amount of people to enter the park. All facilities needs to wait for 30+ minutes as usual (means number of visitors are not less), and no distant between people in the queue.

Cannot feel any magical Disney atmosphere. Staff in the park is not enough and speak to you in a tone that unlike the Disney I used to be. Though there were still some nice staff, overall experience is not nice.

While I get in the line to take photo with the Disney character, I was stopped when it was my turn, the staff in a cold face said Pluto needs to leave, another character will come out soon. I asked the staff may i take photo with Pluto, but he just said no.
Why don’t you tell me earlier, to stop me from waiting? My kid is 1 year old and Pluto is the only character he knows, and when another character came out, my kid is totally freak out and can’t stop crying.
It makes me wonder am I really be in Disney? The magical Disney?

Insufficient information. To reduce contact to people , it said no more physical park information booklet is provided. Staff told me I can download Disney app to get the information, but the app is too slow and unfriendly.
I suggest you place a open shelf and let people to take as they wish. Without sufficient information I m totally lost and didn’t know the schedule of different activities.

Supposed to be limited bookings, due to Covid restrictions. I have never seen as many people there in all the years i have visited. The restaurants were full and people were having to eat outside on the park benches. No night parades or fireworks display for several years now.... me and the kids left early and had more fun in Sham Shui Po, walking around the toy shops and eating in a restaurant at half the price of Disney....

Your ticketing process is confusing. I bought tickets online. If we need to register our names for covid etc. Make us register ahead of time. Have qr codes in more places reminding people to do it upon arrival not just at the ticket checkin.

Then, because I live and work in China often using mostly Chinese Web browsers the ticket barcode won't load.

Took 20 mins til a helpful young person more tech savvy came by saw me an older grey hair senior citizen was having troubles and saw my problem. He explained that I needed to use Google chrome browser and also connect to the park WiFi.. My Internet plan was too slow to load the ticket.

Then when it came time to buy food I couldn't use the 25% coupon.. Coz the check in guy must've been so mad at me he wanted me out of there rather than block him checking people in. He didn't print the e-ticket my Disney coupon.

I had to go back to the ticketing area at the front of the park to get another ticket (for e-coupons).. I'm old.. It's sunny and hot. If I get heat stroke I'll blame Disney.

E tickets are supposed to be online/on my fone etc. Why do I have to print an E-ticket coupon???

You guys are way behind in your systems. Upgrade them for 2021 standards of magical experience 2021標準 的一個快樂奇妙的一天。

as now COVID 19, DISNEYLAND do not offer any map but the apps is not very well developed. It cannot not show whether cancel the patrol and other places entertainment. Also four restaurant closed and make the other restaurant crowded. The other restaurants crowed and made us wait 45 min long queue to buy the expensive and terrible burger and chips. really waste the time and money to play other entertainment

I had experienced Very very terrible experience with Bad customer service, especially in the restaurant of Disneyland hotel!!! The staff just not helping out with solving the problem but just stop serving us the meal. Just wonder why Disneyland hotel provide such kind of service. The manager just made the customer embarrassed and get into crazy.

We can’t reserve the swimming pool in the time when we stay in the hotel but can just reserve the swimming pool after checked out. It’s just like we are going to public swimming pool facilities. They just provide one showering room for the customer but the staff claims that they provide enough bathing facilities for the customer who checked out.
Finally, long queue for waiting just one shower room....we just wasting our time for queuing.

In fact we try to wait outside the swimming pool but you can never go in because there has no waiting quota and everyone will show up for who had reserved

However, the management is non sense and not consideration. Even the customer companies system react so slow with response in 7-14 working days for written complaint. Unbelievable that they provide low service standards in such a international organisation!!!!!!

I am a California residents so I have been in many trips to Disneyland here in California, U. S. A. However, when I came to Disneyland in Hong Kong on December 27, 2019. I was so disappointed. The rides in Hong Kong Disneyland were less half of what we have here. There’s no Pirate in the Carribean, Indiana Jones, Haunted Mansion, Alice in the Wonderland, Peter Pan, Ariel, Neemo Adventure rides just to name a few. There’s no Royal Hall for the kids to take pictures with 3-4 princesses. However, to be fair, after an hour of lining up, you would get to meet Elsa and Anna and briefly take pictures and another hour of lining up again if you like to meet Olaff. But beware! The line would be close for an hour or so each time afterward.

But what I mentioned above is nothing compared to the rude treatment that I experienced later. My main problem was due to the rude, disrespectful, unprofessional staff at Fairy Tale Forest, whom tried to shout at me in Mandarin, Cantonese and English to tell me to get in line when my 4 year old tried to move up when she shouldn’t have.

When I smiled at him politely, he proceeded to rolling his eyes, putting hands on his hip, and aggressively getting closer and almost got physical until my husband intervened because I was so speechless to this ill mannered person. He backed up because my husband took out the video camera and told him that his manner will be recorded.

I have never filed a complaint before but I had to just did this time because it was so lousy. I would never go back to Hong Kong Disneyland again!

My visit to Hong Kong Disneyland was pleasing and it was a good experience. My family and I had our trip on 2016, in the morning and left in the evening.

There are various types of rides in which people from every age can get themselves into. The area of Hong Kong Disneyland is huge and divided to areas where attractions in it are set to a theme. I recommend visiting early since it can get very crowded in times later than noon. Other than the various rides that they offer, you can also find foods, drinks and souvenirs at the shops inside.
