Good place for affordable food and a drink

It's not easy to find an affordable meal in Hong Kong but here it was Ok. It hosts a good array of bars and a few restaurants. Nothing super fancy, nothing super cheap.

This is a narrow lane with a fair number of cool bars and restaurants, lots of outdoor seating, always busy with locals and tourists. Not overly expensive at all by HK standards. A must visit if you are staying in Kowloon. Our teenage son absolutely loved it here! The temptation is always to sit outside one of the bars or... More

It's cool place to hang out and chill out at night.it's very comfortable for me because i stay at the standgord hillview hotel. This area just behind the hotel if you walk from the front of hotel. It will have small street next to the hotel. Or you can walk to this area from mira mall if you are in... More

This is a narrow street full of arty type bars and restaurants with outside terrace seating. To find it there's several sets of steps up , no traffic and it runs parallel to Kimberly road. The street doesn't really come alive until after 10 but there's a good vibe , a great selection to eat and drink. Beware though the... More

My wife and I recently visited Knutsford Terrace, it is a vibrant spot with lots of restaurants, good value and happy hour for drinks is usually until 9pm. A little hard to find, go to Kimberly road and around 100m from the corner miramall end there is a set of steps which lead up to the terrace. It's a safe... More

We were exploring the area when we found this area packed with different bars and restaurants. A great atmosphere but quite on the pricey side, for both food and drinks. We found an oyster bar and enjoyed huge fresh oysters with some well made drinks at the Steak Chop & Oyster Bar restuarant. If I ever find myself back in... More

A row of buildings forming a long alleyway lined with some good eateries and bars. It has plenty of seating al fresco, so the place get's heavily polluted with secondhand smoke. The whole length of the terrace is smokey. Apart from this unpleasantness, you'll find just the right kind of food for you.

A narrow stip of road built behind someone's backyard containing restaurants and bars open late after noon to late night. Only came here for dinner and drinks more for the atmosphere than food because friends want to. I personally prefer restaurants and pubs in Lan Kwai Fong, more spacious.

At late night this area starts to ignite. Alot of bars and resturants opens, and uses the "terrace" as an extended oppurtunity. This "gem" is slightly hidden away, so you need to know where to go.

Knutsford Terrace is a short 'street' (more of a back alley actually) with several bars and restaurants in close proximity. It is quite popular with both locals and visitors and so can become crowded during peak hours and into the evenings (hence the term Kowloon's Lan Kwai Fong). Good for bar hopping (several are open very late) and with several... More
