More upscale shopping mall in Tseung Kwan O
Jul 2021
This one of the many modern shopping malls in Tseung Kwan O. Popcorn is perhaps the most upscale one in the largely residential area given the plethora of luxury brands. It is a nice and cozy place to spend a couple hours.

Connected to TKO plaza/centre, TKO MTR station
Jul 2020
Popcorn, placed near the Tuseng Kwan O station, which makes the residents living at Popcorn, or near Popcorn, like TKO plaza, TKO centre or Shueng Tak shopping Centre (TKO Spot), having a quick access to the MTR train service, which is pretty convenient. also, there are a lot of shops for you to buy some pretty clothes, and Starbucks may let you have a short break. There are an area for you to eat, which is located at the second floor called popfood, concluded variety of foods for you to choose, Nonetheless, a shop called 'log-on' is a choice for you to choose some uncommon goods that aren't available in normal shopping centres, which is a place you probably should check out! Not a pretty shopping mall
Nov 2018 • Couples
We came to this Popcorn shopping centre when we were looking for the Tim Ho Wan restaurant. This shopping mall contains 2 phases (Popcorn 1 & 2) and houses about 150 shops, restaurants, a food court and a cinema. It is just located above the Tseung Kwan O MTR station and is one of the MTR convenient malls. Popcorn is like many mid-range shopping centres, it has got the same shops/ restaurants as you'd see in everywhere in Hong Kong.
My impression of Popcorn wasn't great. It hasn't got a high ceiling and wasn't spacious. It hasn't got a luxurious interior and it looked like it was cheaply built. It has a lack of centre space and has no character. However, it seems to have everything which would provide all necessities for the locals.
It doesn't worth for a visit if you're not nearby.

Visit in February

As the shopping centre is just a few steps away from the Crown Plaza East Kowloon hotel, it is very easy to go there for some simple shopping. The highlight for us was the cafe "Agnes" near the entrance from the hotel. Otherwise, there is a range of shops, including Occitane, Uniqlo and some well known world brands. Do not expect the top range on luxury, this is not the place to go to for Vuitton or Dior. The galleries are clean and tidy. A lot of good eating places. Access to MTR stop just on the ground floor.

Adjacent to Crown Plaza and MTR Station
Feb 2018 • Business
I was stuck in Kowloon for 9 days waiting for a letter of invitation to get a business visa to enter China. It rained and was foggy the whole time that I was there so sightseeing was out. This mall ended up keeping me relatively sane while I was there. There was a movie theater, lots of restaurants, a small supermarket and a decent laundry service. The supermarket had relatively inexpensive sushi which was a staple for my lunches and many dinners. When I did want to explore the city the MTR was handy and I never had to go into the rain if I didn't want to. Although not the poshest of the posh it was a clean, fairly modern mall with small crowds. The Crown Plaza/Popcorn plaza is a nice semi-affordable option for a long business stay.

Far From Downtown
Jul 2018 • Family
A rather localized mall. It's very large and has many many stores and eateries. It has a MTR station underneath too. But for a tourist its far from downtown and there is not much is the neighborhood to do or see.

Not a destination mall
Oct 2018 • Couples
Very good for mid range food options IF in the area. Definitely not a mall you’d travel for.

Has brands you’d get in every other HK mall, very hard to navigate and shop as the mall feels like it’s been randomly split over several phases connected across a few city blocks.

On my must go list
Aug 2018 • Family
Back for shopping this round when I am back to Hong Kong to see my family. Good dim sum restaurant for senior and did a lot of shopping with my teenage daughter and for myself, popcorn connected with other Mall in TKO, cannot remember how many (2 other malls may be), we just keep walking and shopping. You will find most of the brand (but not those Luxury Luxury brand) which you don't need to purposely go to TST or Causeway Bay and we can shop peacefully without fighting with the Mainland Chinese tourists.

A huge mall in Tseung Kwan O
Apr 2018 • Family
A huge modern mall attached to Tseung Kwan O MTR station.

Great shopping for local residents in the myriad of developments in the area. Lots of eating and lots of shopping in the usual chains that pepper Hong Kong.
