Lee Theatre

Lee Theatre, Hong Kong: Address, Lee Theatre Reviews: 4/5

The area
Neighborhood: Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.

Creative installation but few choices of lunch menu
Oct 2017 • Solo
I work in Causeway Bay. Every time I walked around restaurants, I got to go through 4 floors of fashion shop. So annoying. Then I take a lift to restaurants till I see Muji shop.

Lunch menu is a few but expensive. Usually I will take a walk after I finish my lunch nearby times square.

The mall
Feb 2017 • Family
The mall that sits where the theartre used to be.

Good used of an awkwardly shaped space spread up on multiple floors. Entrances are a bit tight and restricted though.

Upper levels house some good eateries.

Uniqlo and restaurants
Dec 2016 • Couples
Large 3 floor Uniqlo store anchoring this building. Apart from a few other smaller shops, the rest of the floors are restaurants. I've been here more than 10 times, and here's the list of restaurants I've been:
Worth a try: Paradise Dynasty, Sweet Basil Thai, Monster Sushi, Watami
Avoid: Star of Canton

Nice tall mall with an observation lift, but beware...
Sep 2016 • Family
This is a great mall with lots of restaurants and lifestyle stores, but beware, if you are going there to visit AA Place, it is now shut down.

Quality Chinese-Singapore style cuisine
Sep 2016
This is the second time I visit within one week. The taro-duck is very impressive. Crunchy outside and very soft and creamy taro inside. The other dishes are above average especially the fish soup and the noodle. The thin fried rice noodle is just average. The fish rice is not as good as they described but still good. I would recommend this restaurant and come again if I want Chinese cuisine, I will try seafood next time. Remember to book table to avoid lining.

Shops and restaurants
Aug 2016 • Family
A little inconvenient to get to, and so near Times Square, why bother?

But there are a few restaurants there that warrant a visit.

Another mall. More stores. Lots of good restaurants however. Great gym called PURE and a newly opened cryotherapy place. And more stores and restaurants.

Food focused
Jun 2016 • Solo
A mall with some big mass market brands like uniqlo . The majority of the space is occupied by restaurants . Paradise dynasty from Singapore specializing in Chinese food and dumplings is probably the best there and worth a try

Just another shopping mall to me
May 2016 • Solo
I came in here briefly on my visit to Causeway bay and for me this was just another fairly non-descript shopping mall.
