The area
Neighborhood: Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.

Thank you for the booking. I had an excellent experience. The warm welcome The professional set up. Greeted by the therapist who looked happy to see me. Asked about room temp. Music etc. Massage was just perfect. Amazing
Then a fond farewell. It was just like the ten feet tall I remember.

I went there for their” why not “ package and added one service.

The massage is not bad but similar the normal places out there.

The price is just similar to the 5 stars hotel or just a bit cheaper not so far.

If you really hurry for massage or need a very late open this is the one but if not. A fine spa inside the hotel is much more worth.

I've just left ten feet tall after looking forward to my massage all week and I am in agony! The therapist was so strong and rough- I kept telling her too hard but I don't think she spoke English which is kinda dumb for a euro style salon. Now with an even stiffer neck and shoulders that actually feel bruised I'm off to buy some Nurofen to recover. It's expensive and a real disappointment . Avoid at all costs or at least check your therapist can understand your requests.

This is a fantastic environment for a massage, relaxing and comfortable from the moment you step off the elevator. The foot massage was also perfect. What was very annoying was the constant upselling and charges for everything. I had booked foot massages for 3 people in a private room as a birthday treat for friends (so I had already been upsold when I booked!) The moment we walked off the elevator the receptionist was pushing other upgrades (longer time, special oils for the massage). Then when we got in the room, even the massueses were upselling us on other things. I expect this in a cheaper place or in Shenzhen massage parlors, but not in a place of this quality and price. Disappointing.

I herd about this spa & their shanghai pedicure treatment from a friend who lives in Hong Kong. Hence when I was there last week I decided to spend my morning trying out their services. Since I was travelling with my partner I decided to book myself for the Shanghai Pedicure and book my partner a 1 hr massage so that he didn't have to wait for me.

The spa environment is very comfortable and relaxing. This is my 1st time ever I am having the Shanghai Pedicure as I have a few huge callouses on my foot due to my running & I throughly am amazed what these technician can do to solve those aching issues. I had a mainland Chinese male therapist and he was amazing...in 35 minutes he managed to shave off all my dead skin and relief my foot of my callouses! Since I am done I decided to try their 50min spa massage treatment and I choose Pressure Point treatment and boy I was impressed. Usually a 50 min massage is too short but the 50min on me seemed like forever! The spa was clean well maintained and the technicians are all very well trained. My partner liked his aromatic oil massage so much he extended another 30 min which worked out very well as we finished almost on time. It was a little pricey but with the level of service and attentiveness. My bill came up to HK$1200.00 for the Shanghai Pedicure and the 2 massages. It was worth every $$ spent!

Ive lived here for 4 years and visited many times over the 10 years prior to that and without doubt this is the worst massage and service I have ever experienced. Started 10 mins late but finished on time - no massage to front of my body - arms legs etc - people coming in and out "delivering things" speaking down microphone and massage could only be described as a woman frantically rubbing oil in - no technique. When I complained they couldn't care less. This is an overpriced tourist trap!!! Avoid at all costs.

We went to this establishment to have foot massages and Shanghai pedicures. The ambiance is quite attractive and conducive to relaxation (until you realize that the music tape is on about a four song loop). The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The services were provided efficiently but without much pizzazz. For an hour of time spent we had to pay almost $75 (US) each. This is three times what we generally pay in the States. Nice but expensive.

In short: there are way too many other more accommodating places in Hong Kong to ever need to visit Ten Feet Tall. I echo everyone’s comments in that I would NEVER recommend this place because it’s way too overpriced and the customer service stinks. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE - WHERE IT’S RESPECTED!

My reason:
I have visited many a massage spa whilst living in Hong Kong so when my husband gave my visiting mom and I pressure point and foot massage coupons to try Ten Feet Tall, I was originally excited to visit a new place. During our first visit with the foot massage, the ambience was quite welcoming (and surprisingly empty) and though the attendants spoke limited English, we booked our second appointment for the pressure point massage for the next week.

On our 2nd visit with coupon, it didn’t really feel like a true 'pressure point’ massage; it just felt like a regular back massage as he didn’t really touch my arms or legs, even after I kept gesturing to them. Since my mom was due on a flight the next day, after it was over, we opted to pay for an unscheduled foot massage next. In inquiring about the price to 4 attendants in the hall, we were told the price and indicated it’d be fine. However, in arriving at the checkout, we were told by the front desk lady that it was an even higher price than what we were originally quoted by the staff in the back. She did not apologize or offer any consolation, only explaining that “that was the old price which was changed 3 months ago and that they told you the wrong price”, like it was OUR fault that we were told incorrect information! No apology or anything for HER staff’s mistake.

Sadly, that small experience totally rubbed me the wrong way and now I see why it’s not crowded. Just rude, rude, rude.

Perhaps I should have chosen a foot massage - after all, their name is "ten feet tall". I opted, however, for a back, neck and shoulder massage which is pretty much the worst I have ever had in any country. I'm well acquainted with massage places all over the world and can recommend many good places, but this isn't one of them. The place looks nice, clean and with a great ambience. The massage took place in a room with 9 other chairs, 7 of them full with people having foot massages. The masseur I got was an older gentleman which at first I thought would be a plus, however, he didn't have a clue what he was doing. He poked at my back here and there, pinched my arms, was inconsistent and all over me from one second to the next. The doors in the room kept being opened and closed by other staff and every time my masseur would make a comment and he was clearly not capable of doing two things at the same time which meant my massage was stopped and started every 2 min. After 20 min. I had enough and left the place … but was still charged for the full 50min. First time in 15 year I have left a massage place before time!
