Quite sad to see so many beautiful fish in small plastic bags... really not worth the time in our humble opinion...

This market was a chaotic but very interesting and mind opening experience. I was expecting an organized fish market but there were just hundreds of fish tanks and people doing all sorts of things from sorting the fish, cutting them up and even some people doing the books in amongst the chaos. The smell was quite bad but the experience was well worth it, a lot to see and take in.

By the recommendation of our native Hong Kong friend, we went to explore our way to arbeedeen in search of a wet market selling all freshest seafood. We soon did at the Aberdeen municipal building where there was seafood sold at the market and we could choose our options and bring to a nearby seafood restaurant just located at a canteen look alike. We had the freshest abalone, prawns, clams and scallops, all in with the cooking charges, both of us paid only HKD300
