About
For those who are into hobby modeling, RC cars and aircraft, replica firearms, military surplus and equipment, Kwong Wah Street is a hidden gem!Located at the back street of Mong Kok, Kwong Wah Street is next to the Kwong Wah Hospital in Mong Kok. The street is not long, but it's dotted with numerous shops that sells collectible military equipment, replica firearms, radio control models and other cool toys. They have anything from WWII collectible helmet to Vietnam era combat gear to the latest model of ballistic helmet and rifle scopes.Every Sunday morning at 8-9am, the street turns into a military extravaganza where people dress in all sorts of military combat uniform with their weapons, wait for buses to pick them up to the game site where they shoot each other with replica BB guns. You can sign up for a day of shooting for about $250 with one of the stores on Kwong Wah Street, which includes transport, weapon, ammo, uniform and lunch.Even though you are not a military enthusiast, it's worth a detour from your usual MK shopping, just to see the replica weapons, which is an art of its own class.

Kwong Wah Street is known for the cluster of Airsoft gun and equipment shops, earning it the nickname of Gun Street here in Mongkok. You'll find this specialty market street between the Soy Street & Yim Po Fong Street intersection (northeast) and Dundas Street (southwest).
It is a relatively short, perhaps just 150 metres in length and includes street shops and a commercial complex at the Dundas end, where you'll find the airsoft gun dealers. Additionally, expect to find other hobby and collectable shops, toy store or two, household appliances and your typical mix of retail shops commonly seen around Mongkok also along Kwong Wah Street.

The guns are airsoft guns NOT real ones. It's interesting to see all the types of guns available and how realistic they look. (no wonder they are banned in Australia). Its a real scene with locals discussing the types of guns for purchase and looking for clothing to match. There are also some model shops there plus stores selling drones. Its not that far from the Ladies market Dundas street end. So visit Gun Street before 6.00PM then onto the markets.

It great if you like guns, but remember they are not real. But there are some small shops for the collector or vintage watches some great bargains on second hand Rolex and others. There are some milititaria and badge shops, at the end towards Waterloo road there are some small designers shops but ! They are a little transient. But it quite enjoyable just to look around. You can get back to the mtr along this road or via Nathan Road.

I enjoy shooting airsoft guns and Kwong Wah is probably airsoft "heaven." There are at least four stores in the area that offer the best products from Japan and Taiwan. I especially like the licensed copies of real guns (Walther, Springfield Armory, Glock, and others). And there are more. Not just guns but accessories, from eye protection to spare parts and most everything enthusiasts would need. Highly recommended!

A street between Yau Ma Tei and Mongkok with a few model (racing) car shops and a few airgun and replica shops for boy soldiers.
Also some interesting camouflage gear that can double for bird watching as well as combat.
