Road encroachment by the stalls have largely been eliminated due to new gov regulations and enforcement. This means an easier access and more pleasant shopping experience. Enjoy.

Went to marble night market and everything was shut. All the stools were packing away. We went between 6-7 and everyone was packing away. Luckily I was staying only around the corner or this would have been an awful waste of time

Go during the day to experience a roadside market where the true locals buy their fish, meat and vegetables. Nothing like our western sanitised supermarkets. Lots of fun. Clothes and shoes? Same as anywhere else really.
