It is a great spot for bar/club hopping, most of them have deals on drinks and great music. You will find both locals and expats having fun and celebrating the weekend. On Fridays it gets INCREDIBLY CROWDED so be prepared to be bumped into, a few hundred times. And girls, make sure you wear comfortable footwear!

I typically come out here Friday evening after work. You can find a lot of expats and locals here celebrating the start of the weekend. If you are allergic to alcohol, there's no point in coming here

Lan Kwai Fong is one of the places with Hong Kong bombarded with bars and people (during weekends and holidays). It's an optional tourist spot that you can go see, but not a big deal if you missed it. If you're travelling with children, this place may not be too good for children but I recommend nearby places such as... More

Most of the beautiful pubs, clubs and restaurants are there. All kind of people, genres and ethnies. In the weekend it is very crowded and noisy and a lot of clubs have to be visited, from Dragon Ai to Gordon Ramsey Restaurant.

For some this place would be an ok place to be, especially if you want UK home from home but for me not so, probably best if you're with company just another city area full of British bars and people, and yes I know some might say it was under British rule so what do you expect, I'm not saying... Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
