My friend and I recently visited Hong Kong and decided to try this tour. It was a great opportunity to stretch ourselves and try new foods...the real foods that the locals eat. We met a very friendly and fun group on our tour and our guide, Carol, was informative not only about the food, but, also, about the area, it's history and social customs. It was a fun and adventurous evening and was equally fun to share with friends on our return home.

The Urban Delight Kowloon Culinary Wanderwalk was one of the highlights of my Hong Kong visit. Our tourguide Carol took us to 5 restaurants and the market. I had a great evening. What I liked so much about this tour was 1) our tour guide. Carol was very open, knowledgeable and sociable. 2) the food!! Carol took us to restaurants that I would never have visited on my own (due to language barriers). The food we got was just amazingly fresh and tasteful. 3) the information shared. Carol did not only talk about the food and the restaurants, but also about Hong Kong habits, history, politics and much more. 4) the company. We were in a group of 6, everyone just great company to spend an evening with. I highly recommend this tour to other travelers!!!

I really enjoyed this walking tour that I had booked through Expedia. Our guide, I think her name was Estella, was knowledgeable and friendly. She did a great job of guiding the tour. We made five different food stops which included soup dumplings, chicken, noodles, oysters, eggplant, frog and rice, and dessert. There was plenty of food which was quite filling and delicious. We were also given the option to try something exotic, either snake soup or turtle jelly. We opted for snake soup which tasted like chicken. We also walked through the Temple Street Market during the tour. At the end of the tour, we were given a map with the locations of the places that we had visited. I highly recommend this tour.

Our person guide Tina took from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei stopping at five local restaurants, giving us an insight into the local food and selecting a variety of dishes in each restaurant. Some of the restaurants were ones you would not normally enter but with Tina's assurances we did, as that is what we were wanting. The restaurants were "local" and it was all about the food. Some of the dishes were not totally to our taste but we were glad we tasted them. We had a small group and all got on very well. Tina gave us the history of the food and some of the cultural aspects, particularly the Chinese herbal teas. Highly recommend this tour.
