Birds are a vey popular pet in such a crowded city and the variety here is awesome. there were lots of birds for sale and while we could not buy, it was really worth a look. This is right at the end of the Flower Market street, just up from the pet market, link them together.

This was a total beautiful well time spent while walking around the area. The place was so clean that I was shocked. The sounds of the birds were very calming....the weather was cool, but I so not think that was not an issue. Very nice place.

I have to say I am NOT some sort of animal rights activist, but the birds in this place look like they are suffering! It is appalling that these conditions can exist in this day and age. Here is the problem. Some birds, like canaries or parakeets are relatively domesticated and can be kept happily as pets. But, THIS MARKET... More

A small garden shopping area just for bird lovers. You can get anything and everything if keeping bird as pet is your hobby. It will also be a great place for kids to see the birds. Some of the birds are not in cages so you may want to exercise some care when you have kids with you.

It was nice to casually walk around and look at everything. Really interesting seeing the bags of crickets and maggot farms ready to sell for food.

This is an interesting aspect of the city and worth a stroll through if you are in this part of the city. An amazing array of birds and of bird paraphernalia is on display.

An interesting place for a short visit. There are shops selling birds and bird food etc., along with owners taking their birds out for some fresh air. The birds are beautiful, but trapped in their cages or chained to their perch.

Great local culture! A walk through the Bird Garden is quite an immersive experience and well worth your time. You will be completely surrounded by caged birds of many varieties, artisan cages, and various foods for birds and flowers. Loved it.

I've never seen something like that before. It was a lovely colorful place. I had the chance to talk to some of the people there and to hear their storys. That was really interesting. On the other hand I can only point out what other said, the birds are often held in fairly small cages, often with more than 5... More
