For a great time and experience the MingCha Tea House is the place for it. We enjoyed a range of refreshing teas and a demonstration by the host which made it worthwhile. This was new and exciting and I highly recommend all visitors to Hong Kong try it.

We (my husband and I) booked the Tea Tasting Workshop on the web-site MingCha during our vacantion in Hong Kong and visited it on 11.08.2016. We had a very nice tea experience guided by Tea Master Mrs. Tomoko Ota. She explained us different types of the tea, we tasted them and we got an explanation for the basic principles of... More

Wow - After seven years of living in Hong Kong. It was so refreshing to experience something new and exciting. Tomoko was a brilliant guide at MingCha as she explained the process of the tea we tried. Vivian Mak the founder popped in to see how we were going as we began to taste our teas. The range of teas,... More

This place is like a tardis - it's amazing. Don't be put off by the industrial-like street entrance to the building - it's a bit of an art house factory. What they don't know about tea is not worth knowing. Super friendly. Super professional. Super quality teas. Well worth a visit.

MingCha offers a 90-minute tea workshop that includes an explanation of how tea is grown, harvested, processed and brewed. There is a tasting of five teas, from mild to strong. MingCha is located on the 12th floor of a nondescript building (fortunately near an MTR stop) and is reached via an old elevator. But the "tea house" is lovely, and... More

Tomoko assisted us and skilfully guided us through some wonderful tea tasting. Our family including a 3 and a 5 year old were all welcome and the kids were actively involved in the experience which was great and a real drawcard for us. Wonderful teas, wonderful experience. Be sure to go inside the parking lot and then up the elevator... More

The place is just 2 minutes walk from Taikoo MTR Station, just follow the instructions on the website and you will find the place easily. Once you cross the door and step in, it's a whole world of teas that opens up! It's a good place to get introduced to and taste a wide range of teas from China, Japan...... More

I've visited MingCha Tea House several times with friends and my girlfriend. The staff is always outstanding and welcoming. Their knowledge is unparalleled in Hong Kong. I can especially recommend this for people that want to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong to just relax and let themselves be transported to the land where all... More
