I originally went to Sam's in 2019 and had 2 suit coats made. These are the best coats that I own and decided that next time I go to Hong Kong, I would go back and get more. I came back to Hong Kong again in early September 2023. This time I purchased two suits and two shirts. The whole experience was so easy. My flight landed much later than planned. I texted Roshan via What's App and he kept the store open for me. The whole experience could not have been easier. The measurements only took a few minutes for the pants and shirt. (They had measurements for my coat from my prior purchase). Came back a few days later for a fitting and this time brought two friends. While waiting for my friends fitting , had Sam's Beer which made the time pass quickly. Roshan promised the suits in about 3 weeks. Approximately 10 days later the suits and shirts arrived at my house in the US. As per usual, they fit perfectly and have become my go to place for clothes. Will order a few more shirts online in the next few weeks. Can't say enough good things about Sam's and Roshan. This should be your go to place for suits in the world!

Went 1st b/c of the clientele list and the place's "brand." Returned for the quality. Want a 5-star tailor experience? This is the place. Have obtained shirts, suits, and a tux here. All look and fit great (as you would hope) and they wear well over time. Sam's Beer was a unique twist over past visits, but that was unimportant. The personal attention/good advice (ask for advice; you may get it even without asking!), quality work, and very competitive prices that I received will ensure I go back and they should entice you to go, too. Give yourself time--don't expect the best quality with a rushed order. Give yourself 5 days if you want to profit from the multiple measurements/fittings that do with tailored clothing. So glad this place survived the nuttiness of Covid!

I recommend this tailor, who deserves his reputation. Despite the Chinese New Year, they served me with professionalism, speed and efficiency, two suits with a very nice personalized touch and seven shirts. And always the highly welcome added value of fun and good mood!

I visited Sam's Tailor unaware of the somewhat questionable social media presence that this business has acquired recently. I've got to say, I was relieved at my ignorance since I might have been put off. Instead, I was very pleased with the quality of the three-piece suit I received, its price and the attentive helpfulness of the shop staff. I was looking for a suit I could wear to my wedding in the UK. I had never had a suit tailored for me. Therefore I was glad for the willingness of the shop manager Roshan to explain the various elements of the suit, and the range of options I had open to me. Although I was offered style advice, I was never pressured into a particular choice concerning style or fit. For example, after my first fitting, I tentatively asked for the trousers to be higher-waisted and less slim-fit around my thighs. This request was carried out precisely as I had imagined and I felt like I could have the suit made precisely how I wanted. Although I'm no expert, the quality of the finished product is premium. It feels superior to a similarly priced off-the-shelf suit in the UK. So with the added experience of getting it made for me and it fitting excellently, I felt I was getting very good value for money. I would have rated this five stars had it not been for the shop's odd social media strategy, and the sometimes impassioned exchanges between colleagues I witnessed in the shop. However, the suit itself and the service I received did not disappoint. Neither for that matter did the readily flowing cans of 8.8% beer!
