About
Harbour City is a one-stop shopping paradise with over 450 shops, 50 food & beverage outlets, one cinema, three hotels, 10 office buildings, two serviced apartments and a luxurious private club all under one roof. With the "Star" Ferry pier (named one of the "50 Places of a Lifetime" by the National Geographic Traveler in 1999), its home to cruise liner berths, maritime history and fabulous harbour view - all at its doorstep. It is easy to see where the mall drew the inspiration for its name. Harbour City is made up of five sections and offers eight categories of retail outlets. The five sections that complete Harbour City include Gateway Arcade, Ocean Centre, Ocean Terminal, Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel Arcade and Star Annex. Each offers a huge range of products and services including: Jewellery and Watches, Beauty, AV/Electrical Appliances, International Labels for Fashion & Leather Goods, Lifestyle, Casual Wear/Sport, Kid's Paradise and Food & Beverages Outlets. There is literally something for everyone, regardless of age group or cultural/economical background.

Cupping Room is a fairly popular coffee shop with several branches spread around Hong Kong Island. They have a place on LV3 of the Ocean Terminal section of Harbour City in TST. This Cupping Room is open from 8am to 8pm (Mon - Fri) and 9am to 8pm (Sat & Sun) and has an open seating area.

As for their coffee, we recently stopped by for an espresso and cortado (white coffee). Neither measured up to what is served at their branches on the island, wouldn't return for coffees here again as such.

However, what makes this Cupping Room worth visiting is that they carry La Viña Bakery Basque style cheesecake amongst their counter foods. This is one of the two or three best Basque cheesecakes in the city imo. We had a take-away cheesecake from this Cupping Room recently. While they didn't package the dessert very well, we did find it to taste expectedly very good, just like what we've found from those purchased directly at La Viña in Central District. Would call upon this Cupping Room again for La Viña Bakery Basque style cheesecakes when in TST and in the mood.

One of the interesting places to visit at Harbour City shopping mall in TST is the Gallery by the Harbour, a small second floor space used for art display and exhibitions. This is a single room hall with space to exhibition 15-20 works.

Presently, The Gallery is showcasing the 2019 Hong Kong Photo contest sponsored by National Geographic Wheelock. Photos displayed present various landscapes, society & cultural scenes around the city and are of very good quality. The exhibition is small so a 10 minute visit to see the present exhibition is sufficient, something well worth allowing time for if you enjoy the arts and plan to be at Harbour City in the near future.

In this shopping mall you have a feeling of kind of being on a ship with water views outside the picture windows.otherwise a fairly pleasant and large mall with emphasis on high end. A bit hard to navigate around. Poor signage.for some strange reasons men's and women's toilets located in completely different different wings of the floor. If a couple uses the restrooms at the same time good luck trying to reunite in the narrow hallways going in all directions.

One of the larger malls in Hong Kong, if not the largest. You can stroll around all day long and enjoy The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. The Star Ferry stop is located in front of the shopping mall.

Hong Kong is such a great place to visit. Harbour City is so cool. The boats are everywhere and the ferry is the best. The food and sites and people are the BEST! There is so much shopping and markets to shop at. The food is fantastic. I can't wait to go again.

I did not have enough 3 hours to get around all the floors. This is despite the fact that I did not go to all the boutiques and not spent a lot of time on fitting and study counters. It is represented here almost all the famous brands of the world. But as well there a lot of very interesting local and Japanese designers. I'll be back here in the season of discounts !!!

Harbour City is one of the oldest shopping centres in H.K., as it had been expanded and renovated 7 times since it first opened in 1966. This is a "L" shape shopping centre which divided into 4 main areas, with one side located by the Victoria Harbour (the old side) and the other side stretches along Canton Road (the new & modern side). This is a relatively large shopping centre and has got 4 levels. It houses more than 665 shops, 103 restaurants/ food & beverage, 2 cinemas and a huge Lane Crawford department store. Some of its designers' label boutiques are such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Versace, Hugo Boss, Cartier, Chanel, D&G, Gucci, Hermes, Tiffany, Armani...etc.

I have a mixture of feeling towards the Harbour City. I am not a big fan of the old side due to its low ceiling gives me the claustrophobic, but I like the new and modern side on Canton Road. However, the best part of Harbour City is its location. Harbour City is just adjacent to the Star Ferry pier, Kowloon bus terminal, TST promenade, the Clock Tower, Cultural Centre, Space Museum and the Peninsula hotel. It is located at the heart of Hong Kong and is surrounded by the many main tourist attractions. In addition, the view of the Victoria Harbour from its Ocean Terminal Deck is absolutely incredible! (& it's free!)

However, there is one major flaw at the Harbour City, as there aren't enough seats or resting area inside this shopping centre. We found the only public seating area outside the Muji shop and there was only a couple of wooden benches. There was nowhere to sit as we were knackered so we went to a cafe for a coffee!
Overall, Harbour City is the shopping mall which I would recommend it to anyone who has a limited time to stay in HK, as it is neighbouring to 1/2 of the most popular tourist's attractions in H.K. and this mall has got almost everything you need!

if you want to go to macau by ferry, you can buy the ticket in harbour city (first floor). you can also depart here. if you stay near Tsim Sha Tsui, this place is the nearest harbour to go to macau. if you depart early in the morning (the first ferry is around 7.30), you can have breakfast here. there's Mc Donald and a coffee shop in the first floor.
