Harbour City is the largest and most diverse shopping mall in Hong Kong. Located at the heart of the city alongside the beautiful Victoria Harbour, Harbour City offers a wide range of shopping, dining, entertainment and sightseeing options as a major attraction in Hong Kong. Harbour City is a one-stop shopping paradise with over 450 shops, 80 food & beverage outlets, an art gallery, an observatory deck, three hotels and a cruise terminal all under one roof. With the Star Ferry Pier, it is home to cruise liner berths, maritime history and fabulous harbour view – all at its doorstep. It is easy to see where the mall drew inspiration for its name.

In this shopping mall you have a feeling of kind of being on a ship with water views outside the picture windows.otherwise a fairly pleasant and large mall with emphasis on high end. A bit hard to navigate around. Poor signage.for some strange reasons men's and women's toilets located in completely different different wings of the floor. If a couple uses the restrooms at the same time good luck trying to reunite in the narrow hallways going in all directions.

One of the larger malls in Hong Kong, if not the largest. You can stroll around all day long and enjoy The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. The Star Ferry stop is located in front of the shopping mall.

Hong Kong is such a great place to visit. Harbour City is so cool. The boats are everywhere and the ferry is the best. The food and sites and people are the BEST! There is so much shopping and markets to shop at. The food is fantastic. I can't wait to go again.

Very nice mall, expensive but great quality and variety of shops and restaurants. It's location in Tsim Sha Tsui is excellent and it has some hotels inside as well. Easy access to Ocean Terminal, Star Ferry, HK Cultural Centre and TST Promenade. It's also near the Ferry Terminal to China.

Lots of nearby shops and restaurants in the mall but also outside as well including the Nathan Rd area is just a few blocks away.

I did not have enough 3 hours to get around all the floors. This is despite the fact that I did not go to all the boutiques and not spent a lot of time on fitting and study counters. It is represented here almost all the famous brands of the world. But as well there a lot of very interesting local and Japanese designers. I'll be back here in the season of discounts !!!

Harbour City is a huge collective shopping space occupying the lower level floors of several large buildings along Canton Road between the China Hong Kong City building and the Star Ferry Pier. It includes 2 million sq. feet of shop space sprawling through the Ocean Terminal, Ocean Center and Gateway Arcade. Opening hours are around 10am to 10pm daily.

This mall is massive and takes hours simply to walk the full floor space. There are around 450 retail shops, 70+ restaurants and eateries, an art gallery, observation deck and two hotels. It is also directly connected to the cruise terminal.

In recent years, Harbour City has become a favourite venue for mainland Chinese shoppers. At times walking the halls of the mall has felt daunting due very crowded conditions often found here. However, at present as the city deals with the Coronavirus outbreak and the lack of tourists in the city, Harbour City is rather quiet, making for much more relaxed visits and shopping for local Hong Kongers.

Worth note that Harbour City regularly decorates the mall front facing the Star Ferry Pier with interesting seasonal and holiday decorations. More decor is usually found within the mall interior but out in front of the Star Ferry Pier is where you find the best. Related, presently, there are several works by the French urban artist Invader scattered around the Harbour City properties. Just keep your eyes peeled for his signature pixelated video game characters (ie Pacman and Space Invader) found inside and outside the mall.

Note: You'll find a list of the businesses with shops and restaurants at Harbour City on their website.

A ridiculously large shopping mall with all the major brands that you can think of. The mere size of the place gives me claustrophobic creeps! Downside is that you need a Sherpa to navigate the grounds. And plan your food breaks ahead of time, same goes for bathroom breaks!
Can easily spend a day and still wouldn’t have seen all the shops.

Harbour City is one of the oldest shopping centres in H.K., as it had been expanded and renovated 7 times since it first opened in 1966. This is a "L" shape shopping centre which divided into 4 main areas, with one side located by the Victoria Harbour (the old side) and the other side stretches along Canton Road (the new & modern side). This is a relatively large shopping centre and has got 4 levels. It houses more than 665 shops, 103 restaurants/ food & beverage, 2 cinemas and a huge Lane Crawford department store. Some of its designers' label boutiques are such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Versace, Hugo Boss, Cartier, Chanel, D&G, Gucci, Hermes, Tiffany, Armani...etc.

I have a mixture of feeling towards the Harbour City. I am not a big fan of the old side due to its low ceiling gives me the claustrophobic, but I like the new and modern side on Canton Road. However, the best part of Harbour City is its location. Harbour City is just adjacent to the Star Ferry pier, Kowloon bus terminal, TST promenade, the Clock Tower, Cultural Centre, Space Museum and the Peninsula hotel. It is located at the heart of Hong Kong and is surrounded by the many main tourist attractions. In addition, the view of the Victoria Harbour from its Ocean Terminal Deck is absolutely incredible! (& it's free!)

However, there is one major flaw at the Harbour City, as there aren't enough seats or resting area inside this shopping centre. We found the only public seating area outside the Muji shop and there was only a couple of wooden benches. There was nowhere to sit as we were knackered so we went to a cafe for a coffee!
Overall, Harbour City is the shopping mall which I would recommend it to anyone who has a limited time to stay in HK, as it is neighbouring to 1/2 of the most popular tourist's attractions in H.K. and this mall has got almost everything you need!
