The journey to the fishing village though is long but the ups and down the mountains has it rewards of nice views. The route will takes you up Lantau mountains and down to the Pui-O beach. 去大澳的路程虽然长但上下上的路带给你好风景顺便也路过贝澳沙滩。

It's good to do camping as well as mountain climbing. Bring your own shoes that good for mountain climbing, and tents for camping. You can also bring your own food that you needed for Barbeques.

Took the ferry to Mui Wo and caught bus to Tai O. On a whim, I exited the bus at Pui O. The beach itself is beautiful and it was interesting to walk around that part of the island and see a slice of life that is far from the tourist centers. But my mistake was that I went too early. Other than looking at the beach and enjoying the breeze, there wasn't too much to do.. Then trying to catch another bus proved to be difficult. Eventually I caught a cab and went straight to Tian Tan Buddha. I think this beach would be excellent in the late afternoon into the evening.

Walked over to Pui O from the ferry terminal which was a bit of a hike (when you aren't used to it) and it was magical. Being December it was quite empty & we were able to paddle in the water whilst walking along. There is a great bar there called Mavericks which serves food as well. We caught the bus back to the MTR rather than back to the ferry terminal to make it a round trip.
