This larger-than-life statue of Bruce Lee is located on the Avenue of the Stars and is by sculptor, Cao Chong-en, and dedicated in 2005. It is based on a 'ready to strike' pose from the movie "Fist of Fury". Nice tribute to an actor who died at the young age of 32 years.

Not quite in location given by google maps but not far. Just follow the waterside and you will run into it even though google tells you to leave the waterside and turn left on the street next to it. Good statue not many people around having their pics taken so lots of time for posing :)

A 2.5 m high bronze statue by artist Cao Chongen is installed along the Avenue of Stars near the waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui. It features Bruce Lee's classic "ready to strike" pose from the 1972 film Fist of Fury.

This is a memorial honouring Bruce Lee, Kong Kong's world famous martial artist. His is likely the most famous name in Hong Kong. Many sightseers come to have their photo taken beside the statue.

The statue is not a must-see on its own but it is part of a beautiful, new waterfront promenade at Tsim Sha Tsui. The statue has been permanently located here, after a period of being moved around while the promenade was being renovated. You can find Bruce right outside the large Starbucks, although the statue is set back a little and you can miss it if you’re not looking out for it.
The statue captures a classic pose - he’s nimble-footed and agile with taut, rippled muscles. He is instantly recognisable which makes it even stranger to look at the statue and realise that it is getting close to 50 years since his death, at just 32 years old in 1973.
Bruce stands above an elevated water feature which fits in nicely with his famous quote, “Be water my friend. Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water”
The statue is best combined with a trip on the Star Ferry. As you step off the ferry, head to your right where the promenade starts. This is one of the best places to get a view of the harbour and Hong Kong’s iconic skyline.
NOTE - For hard-core Bruce Lee fans, there is a large mural just off Tank Lane at Sheung Wan by South Korean graffiti artist, Xeva and another mural at Art Lane, off Des Veoux Rd West. I believe that the Bruce Lee exhibition at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum has also re-opened after being re-vamped.

We always enjoy stopping by the Bruce Lee Statue to watch the hordes of tourists jockeying for a space nearby for the photo. This goes on, non-stop, all day long, especially during the summer when tourist groups swarm into Hong Kong and ply up and down the Avenue of Stars.

To have an unobstructed view of the Bruce Lee Statue, its best to go to the Ave. of Stars early in the morning before the tourist groups (and the bright sun) show up. Arriving anytime before 7.30 to 7.45am, you will be afforded some time alone with the statue so you can take some nice pictures with Hong Kong island and skyline in the background. This is the best time of day to visit the Bruce Lee Statue in our opinion.

Absolutely nothing special about this place at all. Just a statue, take a picture of it and go. Nothing else to do. Not worth visiting.

I didn’t think my 30 yr old daughter even knew who Bruce Lee was, but she did and she was the one pushing us to find his statue. It is in a nice spot along the TST promenade and Avenue of Stars. It was pretty popular and we had to wait in line to get our pictures.

The Avenue of Stars along the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade is presently closed for redevelopment. During that time, the area statue and monuments, including the popular Bruce Lee Monument, have been relocated to the 'Garden of Stars' located at nearby Tsim Sha Tsui East Waterfront Podium Garden.

Here you can still see the famous 2.5 bronze Bruce Lee figure as he was remembered from his classic 'Fist of Fury' hit from 1972, make your way to the new Garden of Stars attraction area.

Sadly, the backdrop for the Bruce Lee Statue is now simply a skyscraper in Tsim Sha Tsui East, leaving you with a vastly different impression than when the monument was situated directly on the waterfront with the Hong Kong Skyline at its back.

However, as a positive, it seems few visitors are taking time to actually visit the Bruce Lee statue now. This means you can actually take unobstructed photos of it without throngs of tourists in front of the statue. This is something we haven't seen in many years when Bruce was still located along the Ave. of Stars.

How to find the Garden of Stars:
Just follow signs pointing you to the east end of the old Ave. of Stars, where you will cross Salisbury Rd. by way of an elevated footbridge. At the end of the footbridge, you will access the Garden of Stars directly.

You can also use TST East MTR exit P1 or make your way to the Tsim Sha Tsui East Bus Terminus and just take the escalator up to the podium garden area.

Strange because in many ways it’s just a statue, but being of the iconic Bruce Lee creates that draw. Add to that the spectacular backdrop of Victoria Harbour and it sort of becomes a must see/stop for a photo place. You will probably find yourself in the area anyway so take 5 to 10 minutes and grab that selfie !!!
