Bruce Lee...The Man. The Myth. The Legend.
Apr 2019
Was on my must visit list for Hong Kong. You think of Kung Fu movies or martial arts and you think of Bruce Lee. His characters, the stare downs, the sounds, the fight scenes-everything, made him epic. His tragic death at such a young age immortalized him and it's great to see that he was recognized as the Star of the Century in Hong Kong films. Would not have forgiven myself if I had not made it to see the statue of Bruce Lee during my visit to Hong Kong.

Bruce Lee, Avenue of Stars
Jan 2020 • Solo
Contrary to what Google Maps has, Bruce Lee is not across the road from the pier. It is actually on the side of the Avenue of Stars. I was a little confused as I walked all over the place looking for it and was quite annoyed to see that it was somewhere I had already visited.
The statue's location is very peaceful and a great place to walk around and enjoy the scenery and serenity by yourself (as I did). Lots of people milling around but no crowded. You can check out the symphony of lights at 8PM which is gorgeous.

Bruce back at the Ave. of Stars
Feb 2020
For a handful of years, the Bruce Lee Statue was relocated away from the Avenue of Stars in TST, while the area was being redeveloped. Now that the Avenue of Stars has reopened, you can see the statue back in front of Victoria Harbour now situated in front of the two story Starbucks.

This is a 2.5 metre tall bronze of Bruce Lee in a stance made famous in his 1972 classic film 'Fist of Fury'. The statue is now part of a platform fountain and looks really nice.

For nearly 4 years it was temporarily places in the Garden of Stars on the opposite side of Salisbury Road. That just never sat right with me, an unbefitting spot for Bruce. It is great having him back in front of the harbour.

Bruce Lee

No trip to Hong Kong is complete without seeing the Bruce Lee Statue. Come down early morning to avoid the crowds or later in the afternoon to see everyone taking Kung Fu photo poses next to the Statue.

Not quite in location given by google maps but not far. Just follow the waterside and you will run into it even though google tells you to leave the waterside and turn left on the street next to it. Good statue not many people around having their pics taken so lots of time for posing :)

I didn’t think my 30 yr old daughter even knew who Bruce Lee was, but she did and she was the one pushing us to find his statue. It is in a nice spot along the TST promenade and Avenue of Stars. It was pretty popular and we had to wait in line to get our pictures.

It took me a while to locate the statue but once I did, the experience was overwhelming. It’s like I could see Bruce Lee live and the amazing skyline at the back. Superb statue

Don't use Google Maps to find it.
Nov 2019 • Solo
I first used Google maps to get to the Avenue of the Stars because I knew that it was there. However, once I got there if I use Google Maps again to find it, it sent me to another location. The Bruce Lee statue is literally right next to Starbucks. Easy to find and a great symbol of Hong Kong.

A Must See for a True Bruce Lee Fan
Sep 2019 • Friends
I have admired Bruce Lee since I was a child and it was always a dream to visit his hometown. Since his mansion was no longer available to the public, I felt that this visit was a definite to do list for me. It's a bit of a walk to get to his statue, but to me, it was worth it. I also got to take in the beautiful area and see more stars along the walk.
