Danny Fung is an awesome guide! He is incredibly knowledgeable and also very generous in his explanations of various sites we visited. Danny is very inclusive in that he asked us questions, not just answered ours.
The tour itself is a great way to see and learn about the old and new of Hong Kong; wear appropriate footwear.
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hong Kong!

Danny did an excellent job tailoring this tour to our interests since my husband & I were the only ones on this tour . He was very approachable , interesting , & knowledgeable . He also gave us great ideas on where to go / what to do the rest of our visit . We certainly would not have seen all we did without him . He took us to a great dim sum restaurant .

Danny is great, and the history both fascinating and very revealing. His style is interactive rather than lecturing and we found that particularly engaging.

Horrible! First off we were supposed to meet at 6. We arrived at 10 minutes to 6 and they were leaving! If we had come at 6 we would’ve missed it. Now I wish we had. Dingy dirty backwater establishments and neighborhoods that were disgusting. Tour was waaaayyyy over booked so we tasted ZERO FOOD! the only food tour I’ve been on where we ate nothing! I was starving! And to top it all off it was supposed to be 3 hours and it was barely an hour! I’m about to contact paypal about a refund. Complete bs! Don’t waste your time or money.

I enjoyed the Hong Kong Markets Small-Group Walking Tour with Danny, but, for $AUD55, I think this tour was significantly overpriced.
Our guide, Danny, was friendly, well-spoken and generous with his personal advice about places to go and great restaurants. We visited some interesting spots that I haven’t seen before, despite this being my third visit to Hong Kong, including bird market, fish market, flower market, sneaker street (where the locals go) and Ladies Market.
Danny balanced the tour well - allowing free time to explore the markets by yourself. However, access to all these places wasn’t unique and I could have navigated these by myself for free.
We stopped at some interesting shopfronts, and Danny encouraged us to try local cuisines. Most of us dipped into our wallets again for the egg tarts. However, considering the cost of the tour, I believe this should be included as a minimum.
At the end of the three hours, I was feeling annoyed and ripped off. No tip - sorry Danny.

This was the best tour I went on during my trip.
We started at a street vendor selling some rather unusual things. I won't spoil it for others, but let's say that I felt that if I tried something there, the rest of the tour would have gone downhill. I'm not a very adventurous eater at all.
We went to a vegetable market where I saw vegetables I've never seen in person before (and got to try). Then we went to a couple other street vendors. There was some dried fruits that we tried, and then some more street markets. Danny explained the history of the street markets and what will probably end up happening to them in the future.
We went to some sit-down restaurants where I decided I would try something new, so we ordered goose and pigeon. Then we went to a wonton place and finally a dessert place (interestingly enough with the same name as my daughter, so now she knows how to write her name in Chinese).
It was a great tour with some really good food. I actually didn't eat another western dish the rest of my trip because of this tour, and I'm glad. I highly recommend this.

Danny was a friendly and informative guide who knew his stuff. He gave us the history of Hong Kong and showed us places we wouldn't otherwise have seen. Tour lasted nearly 3.5 hours but their were breaks and time for a drink en route. Highly recommended.

Our guide Danny was very knowledgeable and took us where the locals go to eat. It was great night out and well worth it.

Ever saw a great movie and then get the urge to find out more about the story, the author, the setting, the production? This tour is great for that if you like HongKong like a great movie. Danny takes you back in time to tell you stories and the histories that made the city. The tour route winds through the artsy streets of Sheungwan, witnessing the creative revival that is happening before your eyes. Along the way Danny sprinkles in his broad art knowledge of the scene and gives you additional perspectives.
This is a fairly serious walking tour! Wear comfortable shoes!

This tour was suppose to be until about 2, 2:30 however Danny had so much information and was willing to answer all sorts of questions that it lasted until about 4. Of all the tours I have done this is one of the best. I don't think Danny could have been more knowledgeable. My husband, who is a history aficionado was very impressed with his knowledge.
I was worried at first as Danny is tall and has a long walking stride and I am short and did not think I would be able to keep up. He is very aware of everyone in the group and waits for people to catch up before giving information. Just make sure you wear good walking shoes as Hong Kong is very hilly.

I've tried calling the number on my voucher and I've e-mailed you too with no reply, what's the best way to get a hold of someone?
