If you're looking for a tour from a man who has seen it, done it and lived it, Martin's your man. From his over quarter century experience of living and working in Hong Kong, he has a wealth of facts and insight about all the goings on and developments of the vibrant city that is Hong Kong. We're not sure... More

My buddy and I were fortunate enough to get on Martin Heyes' schedule for a WW2 tour of the Wong Nai Chung Gap. It was a highlight of our week in Hong Kong. Being both quite interested in that period of history, especially the Canadian angle (biased as we are), Martin's energy, insights and stories were a real treat. He... More

I did the WW2 history walk with Martin Heyes on a solo visit to Hong Kong. Martin is a fantastic guide, who can provide a wealth of detail outside of the tour's advertised content, as I peppered him with all sorts of other questions, and we swapped travel stories along the way. As a long-time HK police officer, he had... More

What a great experience to enjoy a very beautiful and green Hong Kong when I had been used to just the bustle of commerce in downtown Kowloon and Central. I did 2 beautiful hikes--Dragon back and Pyramid hill. Stunning views and just the right level of difficulty. Gabi could not have been nicer, more helpful, and more informative. I recommend... More

My wife and I took two tours from Walk Hong Kong - the HK Heritage and History Tour, and the military history of the Wong Nai Chung Gap Trail. Gabi (the company director) conducted the first tour, and Martin Heyes (an ex-UK military officer) conducted the military history tour of Wong Nai Chung Gap. Each tour was excellent, well-paced, and... More

You can visit the walk hong kong website for itineraries of their different tours. I did the guided hike in the Sai Kung country park area of the new territories, call the deserted beaches hike on the website. Gabi was our guide and kept in good contact through email and was a good guide for the day. We took subways,... More

My friend and I did two tours; Kowloon markets and the Dragon's Back hike. We can highly recommend both. The markets tour takes you through the bustling backstreets of Kowloon. We saw the jade market, the Ladies market, the "wet" maker and many others but one of the most interesting was the Bird Garden. Stephanie was our guide and was... More

I missed my first hike as I slept in but Gabi was quick to ask if I wanted to join the day after for the dragon's back hike. Met a great bunch of people. Meeting point instructions were easy to follow and Claudia our tour guide was nothing short of brilliant. Great information and really friendly. She also helped us... More

I started the day with my tour guide Gabi and another tourist. We started with an understanding of feng shui specifically in relation to the HSBC and surrounding buildings. We then visited 2 temples and finished up that part of the tour within a scrumptious lunch at the Buddhist vegetarian restaurant at the Chinese Harden next to the Chin Lin... More

I am sorry to have to highlight that we lost time for a coffe, we passed by interesting places without any information provided, and that the talk was very superficial
