The New Town Plaza at Sha Tin is an extremely high end and excessively costly shopping area. With all the world famous brands under one roof it is the best place to shop for uber rich class but not for the masses.

This place's wifi would allow you to connect but then claims your phone web filtering is a problem. That's unusual. So I can log onto tripadvisor app and open Safari browser to log onto tripadvisor to write a review but not get Safari browser to visit Apple or do a search of the web for filter solutions. (The wifi error... More

I cannot find the address under trip advisor of the shop, Tasty congee noodle and wanton shop at the new town plaza, Shatin, of which the food is acceptable but at the high end price. It's decoration is fairly acceptable with marble tables. After walking at the moore and finished shopping, afternoon tea is a custom to most people, I... More

It's pretty much the exact same shops that are already found throughout the rest of Hong Kong's malls. Nothing special except to watch parallel traders cramming as much as they can in the bag.

New Town Plaza is the feature shopping mall in Sha Tin and is easily accessible from the Sha Tin MTR and the main bus terminus, allowing visitors to converge upon this mall from various areas of the New Territories and greater Hong Kong. It is also accessible for those crossing the border from mainland China for shopping day trips. In... More

This is undoubtedly my favourite shopping mall in Hong Kong. You can spend a whole day exploring this centre with a diverse mix of shops, cafes and restaurants. You can try dim sum or seek out the best of shops. The Sha Tin MTR links directly to it and you'll find everything here.

The mall is huge.. it is connected with other malls such as YATA. Most of the reknown brands are located.. except for typical high end brands. There are also super markets and restaurants.. so it's a great place to shop and eat. But it's too crowded in the weekend

Mall is mid to high end - not at the same level as Harbour City or IFC, Worth a visit if you after something mid to high end
