- LeonhknyHong Kong, China13,893 contributionsPleasant mallThis is a major shopping mall in Kowloon. Not strictly on the tourist trail, Festival Walk is a popular hangout place for locals. Roughly midway between Kowloon and the New Territories, it is particularly crowded during weekends. Shops are mainly chain stores and restaurant selections are aplenty. Great place to spend an afternoon.Visited January 2023Written January 22, 2023
- BradJillHong Kong, China158,699 contributionsFestival Walk has reopened recentlyFestival Walk (FW) recently reopened after being closed down for nearly three months after protesters broke into the mall and set the 4 storey Christmas tree on fire back in November. There was also an ownership transfer that kept the doors closed until this month. FW is now back open. Opening hours are 7am to midnight daily. Not much seems to have changed with FW. The layout is the same, most of the previous retail shops and restaurants have stayed. You'll find an expected selection of mid-range to luxury end retail brands, an Apple store, cinema, ice-rink, Toys R Us and Taste international supermarket, which did redesign their floor layout. The supermarket feels more intuitive and modern now. Otherwise, all seems normal at Festival Walk again.Visited February 2020Written February 19, 2020
- cora3181Hong Kong, China326 contributionsFusion food, part of the seating under sunWill go there to have lunch sometimes, like to be seated outsider as under the sunroof, nice and warm. Set lunch menu ok and good for value. I usually take rice noodle with duck leg.Visited February 2020Written March 10, 2020
- buddybuddyHong Kong, China212 contributionsAloof and detached in handling the dispute between the restaurant and the customerIn mid July we visited the restaurant Ana Gura but unfortunate the experience was terrible. Although there were several guests, we, two elderlies with knee problems, simply requested to be seated minutes before 6 p.m. but refused if only if we agreed that the time should be counted to the meal time. We refsued for we had to wait for the other three to come. We were urged to pay the bill minutes before the appointed time. No staff asked me whether I was the member of LIBUID and I only heard from one nearby customer mentioned the membership discount. I asked for any discount out of my LIBUID membership, I was told the discount only confined to one shop only. I found out on that night that being a Festival Walk member, I could have little discount but the staff of Ana Gura never mentioned it. Having grievances against their handling, I lodged a complaint against the shop practice. I had to call thrice to the Festival Walk with an email, I finally got a reply after a lapse of half a month. Guess what the reply it was : more flexibility should be exercised to allow the customer to have more meal time. We never expected more meal time but a rest so that our knee would not be so hurt as there were only few customers there. It seemed to be our responsibility to remind the staff of our Festival Walk membership. Definitely, I could only delete the LIBUID apps and stop visiting any restaurant of the group. From the whole course of event, I do not think the management of Festival Walk pay enough attention to the quality of service of the restaurant. They should learn from the Watsons in handling grievances from the customers.Visited July 2021Written August 4, 2021

- BradJillHong Kong, China158,699 contributionsA top 5 shopping mall in Hong Kong found in Kowloon TongDirectly accessible from the Kowloon Tong MTR station, this fine and attractive mall offers medium range (some higher end) shopping, good dining options, a great English bookshop (Page One), an Ice-rink, nice cinema and lots of good mall walking. What we love about Festival Walk is that it never seems to bring the massive crowds that other Hong Kong malls suffer from, other than the holidays. Thus, you can come here for some peaceful, indoor mall walks where you can have a conversation with someone using normal voice and tone, not always an option in this noisy city. We frequent Festival Walk as locals and send many of our visiting guests here instead of the more popular Harbor City and city malls when they seek some indoor casual shopping without the massive crowds. Thus, if you are getting tired of the HK crowds, noise and chaos, Festival Walk is a very nice option for an afternoon of indoor peace, light shopping, coffee and dining. Tip: Festival Walk makes for a great visit during Christmas and Chinese New Year. They always put up a massive 4 story Xmas tree that is usually tastefully decorated. The CNY displays are always classy, attractive and nice to look at as well.Visited May 2011Written May 26, 2011

Similar shopping centre like Times Square or IFC. Located at Kowloon Tong station. Lots of stores to browse and many restaurants to choose from to eat if you get hungry. The mall has a few Japanese restaurants, bakeries and fast food restaurants too.
They even have a cinema inside but because of the epidemic they aren't open.
You can spend a few hours there if you need to browse around.

I went to festival walk to ice skate. The shoes were comfortable, and the skating cost is reasonable. One down side is that there are many students, and one of them lunged at me when she did a spin.
