No-one could accuse Hong Kong of being short of shopping malls. However Pacific Place is one of the best with luxurious shopping, restaurants and a cinema. It’s a good option if you need to combine a shopping trip with a child friendly activity because Hong Kong Park is right beside it (the escalators beside Harvey Nichols will take you up to the main park entrance).
Pacific Place is mostly high-end shopping (Armani, Hermes, Chanel, Cartier, Dior, Chanel, Gucci, Tiffanys) although there are some larger chainstores like Zara.
The beautiful Shanghai Tang store is here also. It’s a good place for a very special (if pricey) keepsake of Hong Kong.
We often grab a bite to eat at the Food Hall at the Great Supermarket or the cafe, Le Pain Quotidien. Thai Basil (which has been here a long time) is also a nice spot for lunch. For a quicker shopping pit-stop, there’s a large Starbucks.
The centre is easy to get to by MTR train. You can walk directly from the train into the mall, without even having to step outside.
Like most of Hong Kong, it’s open late until 10pm
I like Pacific Place a lot but I still find it a little confusing to navigate, especially if Im looking for a new shop. In particular, the taxi rank is tricky to find if you are not familiar with it. Head to Level 4 but be aware that in peak times, the queue can be long.

I counted and realised that I have not visited this mall for exactly a decade. This mall has all the big brand names and there are various eateries as well. It is connected to the neighbouring hotel and is near the MTR. I actually like it because it is usually not very crowded.

Passing by this place from time to time, sometimes a big mall with many famous shops, ice skating is a major feature here, and it happens that after the New Year Coca-Cola there is an exhibition here, you can come here to punch cards. There are also a variety of restaurants and coffee shops. Connect to Swire Metro Station.

Why does Starbucks interior design team not think about the noise people make when they drag wooden legged chairs across stone floors. The noise is intrusive and unnecessary when simple rubber “feet” could be added. Some guests seem to take pride in making noise as they drag seats around.

Lots of shops here, but what was surreal was the food market there. It stocked Waitorse goods!! There was a lot of great items of food down there, and items imported from the UK for those that lived in Hong Kong and missed the stuff you could buy back in the UK.

Lots of pricey shops here ... If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it! If you want bargains, head to street market, maybe even Stanley! One of the excellent things about STAYING here though is the LOCATION. Admiralty MTR just downstairs and very central to lots of cool stuff within walking distance. If you are not funded by a business account, for example, if you are an ordinary tourist or a family piggybacking on a spouse's business trip (like us) here a couple of useful tips - both about HK generally and staying in Pacific Place in particular. (1) There is a high end supermarket called grEAT downstairs (below Harvey Nicols) .... Some eateries, bakery, good place to grab sushi, salads or a sandwich if you are too weary after a hard day's shopping. Even better is the cheaper, more local supermarket across the covered pedestrian bridge in United Centre, called "Fusion by Park 'n Shop" - decent selection of wine and cheap beer and snacks. Take your own (or a hotel) bag as they charge for plastic bags. (2) If you want a decent but not too pricey meal, try Ye Shanghai" on 3/F - a hidden gem amongst the designer boutiques and a real find (see separate review).
ASAP when you arrive in HK, go to the nearest MTR station Customer Service and get an Octopus card (stored value card) - HKD 150 for an adult, comprising HKD50 deposit and HKD100 credit. It is so much easier than fiddling around buying a ticket or trying to get the exact change for buses. You can use it to pay for goods too. You can top up in increments of HKD 50 or 100. Cash only. Return the card within 3 months and you get your deposit back plus any unused money. Enjoy HK!

There is a Starbucks Reserve at Pacific Place outside of the far east entrance along Queen's Road East. Opening hours are 7am to 9pm daily.
This is a better version of the traditional Starbucks where you find more skilled baristas, higher quality beans and serious coffee drinks. Decor is urban industrial and modern, clean and tidy and overall noticeably nicer than what you find at the traditional Starbucks coffee shops. Drink and food prices are expected higher as well.
Have stopped by for morning coffee at this Starbucks Reserve a couple times in recent months. Espresso has been very good, same with the cortado. Interestingly, you can opt for different milk types for your white coffee drinks (almond milk, Hokkaido milk and others). Tried almond milk with the cortado. Not bad but will probably stick with regular milk next time around.
Food orders are pretty good here as well. Enjoyed a smoked salmon on bagel for breakfast recently. Bagel was soft and of correct texture. Salmon, lettuce, onion and cream cheese ingredients were very good.
Overall, its nice having the Starbucks Reserve at Pacific Place. Its a good option for those seeking better coffee drinks in this area of the city.

This is a high end shopping mall with all the expensive brands. Lunch during weekdays is packed. It connects to Hong Kong Park which has a lot to see. Petite on the roof serves pretty good coffee. You cannot find anything local here. No need to spend a lot of time here if you're a tourist. The supermarket in the basement has a wide variety of hot and cold food for takeaway which you may buy and enjoy in Hong Kong park !

You can exit Admiralty MTR exit C1 and walk directly into a very nice shopping mall in Hong Kong called Pacific Place. It is also right outside the Island Shangri-la so you have an idea of what kind of shopping you are looking to find here. It is mostly higher-end serving the locals and ex-pats and is busy with families on weekends. This is a nice mall, even just for strolling but there is little in the form of tourist souvenir shopping here.
We rate this the best mall in HK island along with the IFC 2 shops just for general mall strolling, shopping and dining. Its a nice way to spend an hour, particularly if you are out in the summer heat, touring our HK island (Central to Causeway Bay attractions).
There are restaurants, nearby coffee shops and the general shopping mall works at Pacific Place.

Yes this was a nice mall but there are so many other nice malls in Hong Kong that nothing really stood out to me about this one.
