After living in Hong Kong for 3 years back in the 90s, and making numerous visits to lama, Lantau and Cheung chau, I thought I'd pretty much taken in all the outlying islands. But on a short visit to Hong Kong, and inspired by the...More

only 20 minutes from Central Pier 6, this island is completely different to HK Island and so much more laid back. Lots of little cafes and restaurants. Worth a visit.

Ferry service is very efficient. Village is charming and has a nice and easy hike up to the highest point to watch the superb view, if the day is clear.
